Our guests now have more choice of resort and all-inclusive destinations in some of the world’s most sought-after locations! We have signed a strategic alliance with Iberostar Hotels & Resorts to add up to 70 hotels to our system under the Iberostar Beachfront Resorts brand over the next two years.
The brand will become the 18th for IHG while Iberostar retains 100% ownership, preserving its’s autonomy and values as a family business with resorts in outstanding locations and a strong commitment to quality and sustainability. The first properties set to join in December will be in locations including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Brazil and the Canary Islands (Spain).

Having open conversations around mental health and wellbeing is so important. We recently invited stress management, burnout and resilience expert Leanne Spencer to host a session for our colleagues, as they consider what World Mental Health Day means to them.

The desire to travel and the demand for hotels has continued to grow across the world from business and leisure travellers. This morning we announced our Half Year Results which show this demand has led to our group profits more than doubling compared to 2021 and revenue per available room was close to pre-pandemic levels in the second quarter.
