The Tokotoko is a traditional Maori carved ceremonial walking stick. It is a symbol of authority and wisdom and respect that comes with age. With it it comes the responsibility on the holder to pass this knowledge and values on to the next generation. At Tokotoko we see our work as passing this knowledge on and providing a template or raid markers for our young people to work from or follow as they make their journey through life.
