Hello followers, still here, not doing a lot, that's why there's been no posts, new job that gives me less time off than last one, catching corona, the travel restrictions blah blah blah, I am aiming to get out and about in 2022, nothing exotic, but just somewhere.

Happy new year to my ooh tens of followers, I am still here, not doing a lot for obvious reasons, not much (if anything) planned, for obvious reasons, best I've got is maybe some weekend over nighters but who knows?

Get in! When I started this page 5 years ago to show off about my bike ride around Eastern Europe, and other subsequent trips I was going to do, the target for likes was 100, nothing major, well today I've finally got there, not bad for a page that hasn't had anything posted on it for a while, well there has been a global pandemic and travel ban going on.
Yea enough about all that what's your plans for the future I hear you shout, well I've still got the UK C2C to do, I'd like to do the WW1/2 battlefields of France, Belgium and Netherlands, I really fancy doing the Baltic's again and see if Belarus finally lets me in, and I'd love to do the biggy from Kazakhstan to the UK via the Stans but that's a very very very slim chance of happening tbh.
So thanks to all 100 of you for being here, following me while I attempted to show off in various former communist countries.

So 5 years ago,I was on my way to Tallinn to try and cycle a few countries,went ok.
2 years ago I'd landed in Kraków to try and cycle a few countries,didn't go too well.
Today I've cycled down to the local shops,with a newly rebuilt rear wheel,went ok,the wheel handled the extra weight of a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk

I'm still here,
hadn't got a lot planned trip wise this year,couple of overnights during the holidays,obviously can't do anything at all now.
I'm just getting used to suddenly becoming a key worker(I don't feel like one at all tbh)so that's the focus for the foreseeable future.

Year ago today I was on the plane to Poland with the plan of getting to Kazakhstan,didn't actually work,but managed 9 countries which is none too shabby tbh,but still felt I'd let people down,next actual big trip it's probably best to fly further and ride to home,rather than ride away,that'll help with the mental side of it surely
