Heavens of Vuda is a 10-acre beachfront organic farm located in between the panoramic Vuda Bay and Dreketi Inlet, a scenic 30 min drive from Denarau Island. Our farm is a short walk to four resorts, a yachting mariner and dozens of expatriates owned homes nestled around its bay.
Heavens of Vuda is truly an organic, cultural and historical experience showing uncommercialized Fijian way of life that has remained unchanged for 100 of years. The tour is set on a beachfront property with a farm ambiance and is near to the historic site where the first Fijians landed around 1500 BC.
Ours tours will show you the Fijian subsistence way of living off the land and sea, the basic resilience locals have used to survive without a dollar in their pocket or supermarket in sight, our local culture and a background of Fiji's colonial past including the history behind the arrival of Fijians of Indian decent.
The tour is low intensity and is designed for people of all age groups leaving zero carbon footprint in all activities which is a rarity in this modern age given the heavy reliance on fossil-based fuel and power.
Our tour is owned and operated by Filipe Vavudali who is a proud indigenous Fijian whom we call itaukei in the local language and run by locals including employment to people with disabilities.
What you will learn about Fiji on this tour is very different to the destination brochures and marketing videos you see at your local travel agent – A unique educational Fijian experience where you will end up knowing all about Fiji, its people and its simple way of life.
