ATTENTION Bus 1 Wrexham- Chester Route Amendments due to Road works on Gresford Roundabout

As from 20.00 hours on Friday, June 28 until 06.00 hours on Monday, July 1 and from 20.00 hours on Friday, July 5 until 06.00 hours on Monday July 8, Gresford Roundabout will be closed.

Buses from Wrexham Bus Station to Chester will travel via Mold Road, A483, Rossett, Marford, turning around by Clay Pit lane back to Rosset and then continue the normal route to Chester.

Buses from Chester to Wrexham will travel the normal route to Rossett, Marford, turning around by Clay Pit lane back to Rosset then divert via A483 to Mold Road and onto Wrexham Bus Station.

Updated route for this week concerning Ruabon Roundabout

Due to current roadworks, Ruabon roundabout will be closed on Monday 10 June for 5 consecutive nights between the hours of 7pm and 6am

UPDATE: This is the diversion that the buses will follow during hours the closure is in place. Throughout the day there is no change and buses will be running as normal.

Wrexham - Llangollen/Oswestry/Barmouth

Normal route to Plas Madoc then via Plas Bennion, B5097 Afoneitha Road, Pant Hill, Church Street, B5426 Hill Street, Gutter Hill and Maelor Road to rejoin normal route on B5605 in Johnstown

Wrexham - Llangollen/Oswestry/Barmouth
Normal to Johnstown B5605, then via Styrt Las, B5097 Pant Hill/Afoneitha Road, Plas Bennion Road to rejoin normal route on A539 Llangollen Road towards Cefn Mawr and Oswestry/ Llangollen

Unfortunately, Rubaon will not be served during the closure.

Road currently closed on A494 near Llanuwchlyn - delays likely
1500 from Dolgellau to Wrexham is currently standstill nr Llanuwchllyn en rout to Wrexham

Therefore the 1715 Wrexham - Barmouth is likely to be delayed

The 1620 Dolgellau - Wrexham is being diverted via Trawsfynedd and Llyn Celyn to get to Bala and is expected to be 15+ minutes late from Bala-Wrexham

Timetable changes, Service Withdrawals and New services.

Arriva Bus Wales- Service 4): Wrexham – Rhos – Penycae
• New Timetable from Sunday 31st March 2019.
• This service will only operate in the morning and afternoon peak hours.

Arriva Bus Wales- Service 4B: Wrexham – Rhos – Afoneitha
• New Service from Sunday 31st March 2019.
• This service will only operate Monday to Saturday between 0930-1630)

Arriva Bus Service- 4A: Wrexham – Johnstown – Afoneitha
• Route amendment in Johnstown. Service to operate via B5605 main road. Nant Parc & Moreton estates will no longer be served.

Arriva Bus Wales- Service 12: Wrexham – Brymbo
• New Timetable from Sunday 31st March 2019.
• 0450hrs service from Brymbo to be withdrawn.
• 0511hrs and 0535hrs journeys to Brymbo will no longer start at Wrexham Bus Station but will start from New Broughton

Arriva Bus Wales Service 26/27: Wrexham – Mold
• New Timetable from Sunday 31st March 2019.
• All services to become service 27.
• Route amendment, to serve Mold Road & Old Mold Road. Summerhill Road and Pendine Estate will no longer be served.

Arriva Bus Wales Service 33: Wrexham – Llay
• New Timetable from Sunday 31st March 2019.
• The first departure from Wrexham Bus Station at 0645hrs (Monday-Friday) becomes X33 routing direct to Llay via B5425 (Llay New Road). This journey will not serve the Bradley area on the outbound journey.
• Evening departures from Wrexham Bus Station (Monday – Saturday) from 1830hrs will become X33 routing direct to Llay via B5425 (Llay New Road). These journeys (except for the last departure at 2245hrs) will not serve Gwersyllt area on the outbound journey.

D&G Bus Service 41B: Wrexham – HMP Berwyn
• Fully supported service funded through HMP Berwyn development section 106 monies.
• New Service from Sunday 7th April 2019.
• The service will provide a Sunday daytime hourly transport link from Wrexham General Rail Station & Wrexham Bus Station to HMP Berwyn

• Last day of operation: Saturday 30th March 2019.
• Commercial decision taken by operator to withdraw the service due to low utilisation.

Arriva Bus Wales Service 44: Wrexham – Barkers Lane
• Last day of operation: Saturday 30th March 2019.
• Commercial decision taken by operator to withdraw the service due to low utilisation.

Townlynx Service 28: Flint – Mold – Wrexham
• Last day of operation: Saturday 30th March 2019.
• Commercial decision taken by the operator to withdraw the service to Wrexham.

Townlynx Service 40: Mold – Wrexham
• Last day of operation: Saturday 30th March 2019.
• Commercial decision taken by the operator to withdraw the service.

Wrexham Taxis Service 47F: New Brighton – Talwrn – Wrexham
• Fully supported WCBC service
• Last day of operation: Tuesday 26th March 2019.
• A decision has been taken to not retender this service due to poor levels of use.

Temporary changes to Service 5C bus route due to roadworks

Wrexham to Llangollen

Services will operate as normal to Ruabon then divert via Llangollen Road, Plas Madoc Estate entrance, Hampden Arms, Llangollen Road, Eagles Inn, old Monsanto Works, Abernant Road, Queen Street, Dolydd Road, Cae Gwilym Lane, Coronation Street, Plas Kynaston Lane, Hill Street, Queen Street, Abernant Road, old Monsanto Works then normal route to Dinas Bran School and Llangollen.

Llangollen to Wrexham

Services will operate as normal route via Dinas Bran School to Acrefair then via old Monsanto Works, Abernant Road, Queen Street, Dolydd Rad, Cae Gwilym Lane, Coronation Street, Plas Kynaston Lane, Hill Street, Queen Street, Abernant Road, old Monsanto Works, Llangollen Road, Hampden Arms, Plas Madoc Estate entrance, Ruabon and then normal route to Wrexham.

- Main road only

-Main roads Only

12/12A to Brymbo
-No buses will be going through Brynteg or Pentre Broughton, but buses will be going to the Lodge, Brymbo

14 Brymbo
- Stopping at Rollers Arms, Southsea

21/21A Summerhill
- No service via pendine estate

26/27 Mold
-no buses will be going through Leeswood or Pendine Estate

28 Minera
- via diverted route, not going into Minera itself

35 Borras
- Buses not going through Chestnut Avenue or Herbert Hennings Avenue, only going through Oak Drive

44 Barkers Lane
- Buses will be going via Chester Road, Smithy Lane, then normal route

T3 Barmouth
- Running as normal
T12 Machynlleth
- operating as normal however unable to serve Montgomery at present

Just a quick update for busses running today 23/01/2019.
Due to the weather conditions busses are running slowly and delayed with some slight changes to routes.

The PenyCae busses are only running as far as Rhos and not going into top PenyCae.

The Llangollen bus is running as normal but not going into the Railway station in Ruabon.

The Summerhill busses are not going to the top of Summerhill.

The Minera busses are only going as far as the five crosses.

The Brymbo busses are not serving Pentre Broughton and Brynteg.

The Caia Park busses are missing some streets but unfortunately, not certain on which ones.

We apologise for this and hope that throughout the day busses will go back to normal.

From the 18-23rd Nov, there will be roadworks on Trinity St. Buses will now arrive at different stands on the following dates. Please be aware bus services departures may be affected.

18th Nov - road closed all day
19th - 23rd road closed 1930-0500 each evening
