Brookies, Buddies, 3 weights and a beautiful stretch of historic water. From the moment we stepped in the river, Brook Trout were feeding and wanting to play. Soft hackles, BWO’s and Attractors were all the was required. Thank you Chris Busen for another memorable day in Northern Michigan.
I need to mention that Mr Chris pulled the hat trick on the Creek Chub today. He is a very proficient and accomplished Creek Chub aficionado . Haha

As summer sets in the waters tend to warm to dangerous levels for trout survival, the small streams stay cooler and are a better option for that itch to get scratched. Give me a call for a day hiking to these little gems.
