Our Story
When Joan Bongard, owner & founder of County Holiday Homes, purchased a cottage in 2003, she decided to set up a website to rent the cottage as a holiday home. Her rentals were so successful that her neighbours asked her to manage their rental the next year as did some other friends. Joan could see that there was a growing need for these services so in the fall of 2006 she utilized her many years of business experience to start a vacation rental agency for the Prince Edward County area. Now County Holiday Homes manages over 75 places and it's a year round business employing several staff from the local area.
