Hello from Maui! #maui #humpbackwhale

Another amazing day in Yellowstone- in contrast to yesterday which was nearly black and white because of snow and clouds- today was bright sun and blue skies! But very cold- started at -6 and moved to 16 at the highest. No wolf sighted again today, but it’s not surprising given the couple of big kills (one that we witnessed!) now they are resting! Two new animals today- river otter and mountain goat. Jeff will have photos later! But we had a close encounter with some big horn sheep on a ridge along the road way. Finished the day with an interesting talk from photographer Katie about bison in the park and a video presentation of Bob Landis’s latest work filming birds and wolves. Today Everbody is Amsterdam!

A friend lent me her Airpocket (no financial consideration) to try on an overnight flight. It packed very easily and fit everything I needed. I'll try it out soon and let you know how she flies!
