A tod@s nos gustan las fotos. ¿Pero, y si podemos contar una historia con ellas? Pues el mensaje final es que el producto es más que los factores individuales. ¿Tienes una historia que quieres contar?
Everybody likes photos. But what if we could tell a story with them? The result is that the product (story) is greater than the individual parts. Do you have a story you want to tell?

This house is known as the "Capricho de Cotrina" (Cotrina's whim). It was built by a man named Cotrina and is unfinished since he passed away. It's now a museum run by his family. It's very similar to the architecture of Gaudi and it's located in the town where I live, Los Santos de Maimona, Spain.
Possibly the best Virgin Extra Olive Oil in the world and I am not exagerating.

Cáceres is synonymous with magic. To stroll through streets that have seen little or no change in centuries, is to leave the stress and pressure of everyday life at the gates of this amazing medieval city. The city was founded by the Romans in 25 BC. The Old Town still has its ancient walls and numerous storks' nests. Inside the walls sits a medieval town with no exterior signs of modernity, which is why many television shows and films have been filmed there such as Game of Thrones among many others. Cáceres has been a World Heritage City since 1986 because of the city's blend of Roman, Moorish, Northern Gothic and Italian Renaissance architecture. Thirty towers from the Islamic period still stand in Cáceres. The Moors conquered Cáceres in the 8th century from the Visigoths. The city spent the next few centuries mostly under Moorish rule, although power alternated several times between Moors and Christians. During this time, the Arabs rebuilt the city, including a wall, palaces, and various towers. Cáceres was reconquered by the Christians in 1229. During this period the city had an important Jewish quarter. In the 15th century the total population was 2,000, and 140 Jewish families lived in Cáceres. The Jewish population was expelled by Queen Isabella and Ferdinand of Aragon in 1492, but many remains of the Jewish presence of the period can still be seen today in the Barrio San Antonio. Cáceres flourished during the Reconquista and the Discovery of the Americas, as influential Spanish families and nobles built homes and small palaces there, and many members of families from Extremadura participated in voyages to the Americas where they made their fortunes. Part 2 will be posted next week. #caceres #moors #christians #travel #spain #medieval #castles #retire #conquistadors #history #vacation
The castle of Feria has watched over this typical small, white washed Spanish town in the southwest province of Badajoz, Spain since the times of the Moors. The Christians, after reconquering these lands, added to the construction of the castle. I’m fortunate enough to live about 10 mins from this gem. This area is dotted with castles and palaces.
Plasencia is a walled market city in the province of Cáceres, Extremadura, Spain. Situated on the bank of the Jerte River, Plasencia has a historic quarter and past that is a consequence of the city's strategic location along the Silver Route, or Ruta de la Plata. Since the 15th century, the noblemen of the region began to move to Plasencia, defining its current appearance.
