It's been a minute! I lost my juju for bag making and haven't known what to do with that. So I've thrown myself into Awkward Nerd Events and decided to figure out out asking the way.

This weekend I'm at Midwest Gaming Classic and debuting something new that I've found I really love making: geeky letterman sweaters. Preppy, but make it geek. Thoughts??

Some things have happened recently that are requiring me to run the business differently. It's been stressful to deal with, but I think I have a plan - the website will stay password protected indefinitely.

Today is a very important day in history that deserves celebration, but it does not erase the systemic racism still faced by Black Americans daily.

For non-Black Americans to properly honor this day, take time to educate yourself on the history of white supremacy in America. Engage in anti-racist work. Uplift Black voices. Do not don dashiki's and go to a Juneteenth celebration.

For all of my African American friends - I hope you enjoy this day with friends, family, and beautiful celebrations!

Hi friends! After some quiet time and a much needed trip with the hubs, I'm feeling amazing and ready to kick ass in my studio again.

I struggled after my second surgery on my ankle and have had to unlearn a lot of bad habits to walk correctly. Again. It was frustrating and I'm continuing that work, but I'm in a better place emotionally now.

AND, in addition to that, I made a huge decision. My event planning partner in crime, , has accepted a new position as community manager for and is moving to the East coast.

I took a lot of time figuring out my next steps in the wake of that and I've decided to take over on my own!

It's tough figuring out what to do with an event company in a pandemic, so stay tuned to that page to see what I'm planning!

In the meantime, I'm working on getting the website set up, lining up my behind the scenes support crew, and bringing social media help on board for ANE. Thank you for sticking with me while I figure things out. I'm really looking forward to seeing you at cons and events this Fall! ❤️❤️
