Our annual Autumn Muster Photography Tour is around the corner! April 12th come join us for a wonderful day in the Cass valley backcountry as we welcome the beautiful Merinos making their travels back from a summer of grazing in the High Country.

Pack your gear for wonderful New Zealand High Country experience, wether you are a photographer or just enjoy being amongst the mountains and legendary Mackenzie Country Landscapes.
Subjects range from, High Country farming, Merinos, Mountains, Glaciers, Landscapes, old sheds, Black Stilts, Banded Dotterels, Crested Wrybills, and handsome Shepherds :)

This is a photographer's dream day trip, we'll enjoy plenty of photography stops and cuppa's and wonderful commentary of this unique part of New Zealand. Private access to one of NZ's most incredible High Country stations combined with our characterful guides and awesome 4WD's, you'll enjoy a memorable day with us and our small passionate team :)

A shower coming over into The Cass Valley, and a lovely rainbow boasts over Memorial Hut. A legendary spot where the Cass River meets the Ailsa stream. Steep ascents for hiking and crystal clear waterfalls, awesome night skies and just a magical spot all round.

Lake Tekapo in Winter offers an even more spectacular visit to guests, with its snow-capped peaks and clear blue bird sky days. Opposite to summer season when most of the snow is melted away, Lake Tekapo is a wonderful place during winter as it shines in all its beauty during the winter months of June, July & August.

We reckon it’s one of the best times to visit Lake Tekapo, when it’s less busy and you can enjoy the southern alps at their finest.

There are heaps of beautiful hidden alpine tarns waiting to be explored in the Mackenzie Country. This one is a lovely spot we enjoy hiking to on our 2 night/3day Mackenzie Alpine Hiking Tour in the summer months. And oh ya- theres a great little hut just minutes away :)
