Carnival Spirit Cruise on the 10/3/15 was redirected to Melbourne and Tasmania very shortly after leaving Sydney.
Carnival Spirit passengers would have liked to have been given an option to visit domestic ports of Melbourne & Hobart rather than our scheduled New Caledonia. Spirit turned around very shortly after setting sail, while most of us slept. We were hijacked and forced to do a cruise we did not want. Carnival had all weather and cyclone info on hand but chose to board passengers under false pretenses. Our Itinerary when boarding was simply the Islands in reverse, not Melbourne & Tas.
