Hunting Lodge My father Jack and I have been guiding in the same area for over 45 years. And I have been guiding for over 35 years.
It's been a pleasure for many of those years to have 100% success for our hunters. I offer several excellent hunts in British Columbia, Canada on the Bowron River and Fraser River watersheds. My area is over 2500 square miles. My camp is situated on the Bowron River approximately 50 miles East of Prince George, in the central part of B.C, 500 miles North of the Canada - US border. Game is plentifu
l, the scenery is beautiful and the weather moderate. Game you may see besides moose are black bear, grizzlies, elk, deer, wolf and all small animals. Trophies range from a high of 58 inches on down. The average moose yields 400 pounds of meat in your freezer, some go as high as 600 pounds. You game is expertly cared for; all you have to do is bag your trophy. If you bag your game early, bring your shotgun and do some duck and grouse hunting. Try your hand at fishing for Rainbow and Dolly Varden. You may wish to get a tag and shoot a black bear or wolf. The camp features wooden cabins with plumbing and electricity, a sauna and a hot tub building and a separate dinning room. Most of the hunting is done from camp, but we also use hunting stands. These stands are very popular with the hunters: they are constructed of steel and are fully contained with stove, sink, furnace and toilet. They are carpeted to the gun rails and when shut down for the night are snug and comfortable. I have excellent group of men who guide for me each year. These guides have all had many years of experience and are top guides. They are bushmen, hunters and like to guide. They are also gentlemen and satisfying our clients is our greatest satisfaction. Congrats to another of our 2024 Y.O.U. spring bear hunters, Isaiah Walter who harvested this beautiful black bear in BC this year with Bowron River Guiding. Thank you Scott and Lynn Pichette for your long time dedication to Youth Outdoors!
Isaiah will receive his mount at our 2025 Spokane auction Feb 22nd at the mirabeau park hotel and convention center. We hope to see you all there.

Another great week on the Bowron. Repeat moose hunters Tom & Julie Rzadzki came up for their first black bear hunt. Both of them taking good quality trophy bears. After they tagged out we fully processed their bear, making Kielbasa and Bratwurst sausages and the rest into bear burger. Tom giving his expertise on sausage making was a bonus. And it is delicious. We took them on a jetboat ride for the day up to moose camp. And now they are on there way home with a loaded truck.

What a great start to the 2nd hunt…2 moose down on the first day! First moose down was Scott Tingey (on the right side) with his beauty 45 inch bull. John Mataka took the 2nd bull. Sorry no pictures yet as he is still out in the stand with his son Scott. Congratulations to you both!!

Father /son - Bj Sande and his 16 year son Per. Both got their moose out at the Meadow Stand. This was Per’s 1st moose. Nice looking bulls. What a great adventure for them both. Congratulations!
