This is a ranch that focuses on riding trails 2 rides a day offered for 5 days.. if you prefer to ride 1 time a day.. you can do that too and then see a ghost town, go to a lake for a pontoon ride or other options during the week. All Day Ride.. yep they offer 2 each week!! The food is family style and includes BBQ ribs, steak and other delicious dishes.. 6 days includes.. all horseback rides, optional trips, lodging, food, coffee, tea, lemonade, hot tubs and even transportation from Airport to ranch and return to airport .. Good morning.. here is a better idea of where I am on the planet.. at the bottom of the world 😁. I cannot even begin to explain how massive it is here.. if you have been to Alaska .. well Antarctica is so much more.. not in means of wildlife.. yes many seals, whales and birds but the landscape is extraordinary!! I hope Antarctica is on your bucket list!!! Let us help you plan this amazing trip!!! My next group adventure will be Circumnavigating the Svalbard archipelago above the Arctic Circle July 2025. Day 12- Below the Antarctic Circle.. today was a push to see how far South we can make it. S 69 degrees 13 minutes. The Sun was out until we stopped 🤣. We did an ice float landing and cruise! It was cold 29F ice on the upper decks had to be cleared.

Day 10 - Antarctica: Hurtigruten Expeditions - today we started the journey further south along the Antarctic Peninsula it was a morning of rest for everyone onboard. The expedition team has worked very hard getting everyone on and off the ship. 7 groups of Kayakers (112 passengers) everyone that had signed up for snowshoeing has gone, and 2 groups of campers (60 passengers) with the possibility of a 3rd group and we still have 5 more full days before we go north. It has been an amazing trip so far. Today we ended up at the Fish Islands (an archipelago that each island is a name of a fish!) we zodiac cruised which in the hour we were out, started calm but became windy by the time we returned.. glad we were the 1st group. !

Day 9 : Antarctica - today we cruised around Yalour Islands and saw icebergs along with the 3rd type of Penguin (Adelie). As we go further south the icebergs get more spectacular. It was cold 17 degrees F so a couple of extra layers were added to stay warm!! Our 2nd stop was a landing in Port Charcot temperature went up to 34 but we had heavy snow all day. Campers were left overnight on Hovgaard Island snow had stopped and they said it was a nice night.

Day 8 - Antarctica: Damoy Point
We did some glacier cruising before we reached our stopping point for the day. The sun came out and shined for so beautiful views. Saw whales, Fur seals, Lepard seals and Gento penguins. The weather did change after we arrived to Damoy Point. snow, snow snow and wind!!!!! Helped run experiments on the Science boat and then some of the crew sang songs up in the explorer lounge to end the day!

Day 7 Antarctica: today a complete change in weather starting with 50 mph winds with gusts at 74 mph and snow!!! No matter still comfortable in the ship good food and interesting people!! We did some scenic cruising and proceeded to Neko Harbour. Weather improved to light breeze and eventually glass like water. We had zodiac cruising, another Continental landing visiting a Gento penguin colony, the science boat out, kayaking and for a few brave souls, overnight camping.

Day 6 Antarctica: I woke up at 6:10am opened my black out shades and WOW!! Clear blue skies and speechless views… we started with a little Whale watching and then moved into Orne Harbour for our zodiac cruising and Continental landing. We saw a Chin Strap penguin colony (amazing little creatures) and some Fur seals.

Day 5 Antarctica: Sunday today we still traveled in the Drake Passage and though it was not rough we were fog and light rain incased. We had lectures all day on what we can expect to see Whales, Penguins, Glaciers and Clouds. We also had science center programs along with handing out of boots. Dinner was amazing and for night 3 on the boat had a great time with new friends from Australia and Switzerland! Saw several Whale blows from the 2nd Largest Species on the planet the Fin Whale and of course my good friends the Humpback whales showed up! We also had a presentation of “Plan A” events for tomorrow!!!
