The Golf Guide's mission philosophy since 1999 has been to promote the sport of golf, increase play at area courses through both daily-fee and golf travel, and also market other businesses peripheral to the sport. The Golf Guide Magazine is distributed directly through subscriptions and over 600 locations including golf courses, golf stores, driving ranges, hotels, visitor and tourism centers, cha

mbers of commerce and other outlets. The magazine is also distributed at Regional Golf Shows each year. The Golf Guide Magazine reaches over 40,000 golfers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia in the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as travelers from as far north as Canada. The Golf Guide websites golfguideinc.com and thegolfguide.info receive well over 2,500,000 successful hits and nearly 150,000 visitor sessions each year, and with continued high placement on the top search engines, are a vital part of the magazines marketing. Each month The Golf Guide also sends out an Monthly E-Mailer directly to the golfers that have signed up for it through the website or at area golf shows. This E-Mailer promotes specials or discounts, and is strategically placed to create immediate action from the golfers. Finally, The Golf Guide also promotes the golf travel business through it’s golf package company Golf Guide Golf Getaways. Established in 2001, this subsidiary to the magazine generates golf travel rounds and lodging to specific destinations within The Golf Guide’s distribution area. Through the magazine, our new packaging brochure and website, Golf Guide Golf Getaways is able to bring business directly to golf course and lodging partners from golf travelers. The facilities don’t have to do a thing. Golf Guide Golf Getaways makes the tee times and reservations, takes care of all the paperwork, and eventually writes our associates checks for doing business with us.

Our distribution area reaches golfers in parts of 5 states. It is also distributed at Regional Golf Shows each year in Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Scranton-Wilkesboro, Pittsburgh, New Jersey and Toronto, Canada

The new website midatlanticgolfgetaways.com with the continued high placement on the top search engines that we have earned over the past 20 years as The Golf Guide, will be the vital part of the golf travel program and marketing regional courses and resorts. Visitors to the website will be able to link to regional courses and resorts and get quotes on golf packages and trips. Additional information on the site including reviews of courses and NEW golf products will link the golfer to the Mid-Atlantic Golf scene.

Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways also sends out an E-Mailer directly to over our growing database of golfers that have signed up for this golf service. This E-Mailer promotes all of our areas and is specific to the time and season sent. Mid-Atlantic Golf Getaways is also active on both Facebook and Twitter with regional golf news and events.
