ement recycling,upcycled arts and Terracycle. Keepin' It clean follows an order of Process. Coffee,Micro-trash ,Gathering, Sorting, Arts, Dumpster, Cheers. Volunteers and crew follow this process and scheduling to ensure maintaince thru out event. Maintaining Compost,recyclables and landfill during an event helps in the clean up process to return venue/property the same or better than before occupancy. Leave No Trace-
refers to a set of outdoor ethics promoting conservation in the outdoors. It is built on seven principles:
-Plan ahead and prepare,
-travel and camp on durable surfaces,
-dispose of waste properly,
-leave what you find,
-minimize campfire impacts,
-respect wildlife,
and
-be considerate of other visitors. The seven principles have been adapted to different activities, ecosystems and environments. MOOP( Matter out of place)
An acronym for Matter Out Of Place,
MOOP applies to any litter, rubbish or artifacts left behind that are not native to the immediate environment. The term "MOOP" was coined by the citizens of the annual Burning Man event in regards to its fundamental principle of "Leave No Trace", whereby participants make concerted efforts to pick up after themselves. It is your small daily actions, like not littering and picking up MOOP, that establish our collective social norms."*Macquarie University, Sydney Australia

We allow people to SEE trash(matter),
once they SEE "IT" they are aware of "IT"
Once they are aware of "IT" they can make a difference next time. This program is for festivals and events that do not have the option of, or would like to make "Cleaner,Greener Minimal (zero)Waste events"
WE have fun, sing and dance and have a good time "getting Trashed"
"talking trash" with jokes puns, song and dance allows people to
converse about this matter. "Hey, whats the great thing about recycling?"
Just do what you CAN, that's all you CAN DO." With micro-trashing over time this allows one to SEE into the details of "IT" as such a simple piece of matter. "IT Matters"
Getting people involved and participating is the fun part of this program
TerraCycle:
upcycles and recycles traditionally non-recycable waste (including drink pouches, chip bags, tooth brushes and many more) into a large variety of consumer products. These products keep waste out of our landfills and contribute to a cleaner world. TerraCycle products are available online at Terracycle.com

As satisfying as it is to stomp on a can, we recommend refraining from crushing your cans before recycling them. Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) use various technologies to sort the recycling that comes through, and keeping packages in their original form helps the sortation process. Empty your can and toss it in the recycling in its original shape!

Ok everyone it has been a little bit since we have done a giveaway so we thought it would be nice to do something for the holiday!! Instead of doing the usual gift from our store we thought it would be nice to give something from other local establishments as well. So we decided to do a big gift card giveaway. Building a legacy! For the kids, children!
Have you ever thought about this?
In 100 years like in 2123 we will all be buried with our relatives and friends.
Strangers will live in our homes we fought so hard to build, and they will own everything we have today. All our possessions will be unknown and unborn, including the car we spent a fortune on, and will probably be scrap, preferably in the hands of an unknown collector.
Our descendants will hardly or hardly know who we were, nor will they remember us. How many of us know our grandfather's father?
After we die, we will be remembered for a few more years, then we are just a portrait on someone's bookshelf, and a few years later our history, photos and deeds disappear in history's oblivion. We won't even be memories.
If we paused one day to analyse these questions, perhaps we would understand how ignorant and weak the dream to achieve it all was.
If we could only think about this, surely our approaches, our thoughts would change, we would be different people.
Always having more, no time for what's really valuable in this life. I'd change all this to live and enjoy the walks I've never taken, these hugs I didn't give, these kisses for our children and our loved ones, these jokes we didn't have time for. Those would certainly be the most beautiful moments to remember, after all they would fill our lives with joy.
And some of us waste it day after day with greed, selfishness and intolerance.
Every minute of life is priceless and will never be repeated, so take time to enjoy, be grateful for, and celebrate your existence.
