When I Stopped;

Screaming for the "world" (the external) to see me, validate me, approve of me..

❤️ I learned how to tend to the "child" (and angry teen..) within as my own wise loving parent; filling the void with the only medicine needed that could give true nourishment - my own presence, validation, approval and love.

When I stopped trying to "help & support" others from an empty bucket and self doubting space; barely making my own ends meet and abandoning my own emotional/physical needs;

❤️ I learned how to listen, meet, tend to, and nourish my own needs while confronting the deeper drive to abandon myself, my own unhealthy patterns around codependency and what was at the root of it all.

When I stopped wearing the "mask" that everything was "fine/great/perfect" when I was struggling inside; 

❤️ I learned how to "lead, be and live" from a place of authenticity, vulnerability and let myself be more imperfectly perfectly "human"; attracting healthy relationships of people willing to do the same.

When I stopped living in "denial" and leaning in to truth- alot of s**t fell apart;

❤️ I went through a dark night of the soul, came out, fell back into the dark; and realized this is part of life; it’s always ebbing and flowing and its "ok to not be ok" and its "ok to be ok"; I've learned how to normalize the whole range of "feeling" and how to embrace it all, to become the witness and wise observer; well aware that each "wave" shall pass...

I've learned to embrace the reality of the human condition by leaning into more authenticity, vulnerability and honest inquiry; from the inside out.

I've also learned that I don't know s**t; I'm no ones guru other than my own and that I will continue to unravel myself into this mighty piece of work; a víctor and survivor- no longer a helpless victim to the s**tstorms and circumstances that pass. 

The storms only help to polish the "pearl" inside that is in the process of daily "BECOMING" 🌟

This... has been a journey to learning to love; from the inside out ❤️

Goddess Yoga… wait, whaaatt??

What the hell is Goddess Yoga, you wonder?

Goddess Yoga is a style of yoga that breaks all the rules. It’s a movement, and a lifestyle for women who are tired of the effects and imbalance of the masculine dominated modern world we live in today that has us women disconnected to our feminine nature.

Goddess Yoga is a practice that is changing how women show up; for themselves and for other women.

It’s a practice that is designed for the female body; it’s a practice that incorporates yoga/belly dance inspired movements that are more feminine in nature; fluid, flowy, curvy, circular. It stems from the ancient practice of women teaching their daughters belly dance inspired movements to prepare for child birthing years.

And when you enter a Goddess Yoga class, something powerful happens when women come together in circle courageously taking off their masks and practice witnessing each other in their own human, messy, real AF journeys as well as celebrating each other through their celebrations and successes. There is a REAL-ness that is different in these spaces when the container is intentional designed and held for these deeper and authentic connections to happen. There is a softening amongst the powerful energy of women when we come together in our power; with balanced energy.
