The hike to Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park is an easy way to get up close to a glacier. If you're up for a bigger challenge, the hike up to the icefield is incredible!

Another great national park in Alaska is Kenai Fjords! From wildlife spotting on a boat tour or hiking to Exit Glacier (and even all the way up to the Harding Icefield above the glacier!) This is such a beautiful and diverse park😊

An evening exploring Seward's marina. The lighting and fog made for some magical views of the landscape, and we even got to enjoy watching a sea otter eat dinner🥰

My second day in Girdwood, Alaska included a tour to Spencer Glacier, which you can only get to by a whistle stop on the Alaska Railroad! We started off with a scenic train ride and a stop in Whittier, Alaska, before heading to Spencer Glacier to float with the icebergs in the glacial lake then we rafted down river.

Girdwood was such a fun town! An overcast day was perfect for exploring the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Area and ending the day at the brewery. I wanted to go to the 7 Glaciers restaurant at the top of the mountain up the aerial tram, but I'll save it for next time when the views are clearer and I can enjoy the mountain scenery surrounding this ski town.

My favorite tour I did in Alaska and two huge bucket list items for me was both stepping on a glacier and dog sledding, so it was amazing to get to experience both! We flew up to Punchbowl Glacier via helicopter and got to visit the summer training camp of Iditarod champion, Mitchell Seavey's sled dog team. The dogs were so adorable and so excited to run. I even got to meet some of the puppies🥰

Talkeetna was probably one of my favorite towns I visited in Alaska. It's so cute with a fun hippy vibe to it and so close to many adventures in Denali National Park! We took our Denali flightseeing tour from here in the morning, then spent the day shopping, exploring, and eating at the cute restaurants in town! Some highlights were trying birch syrup at , cuddling with bunnies, and trying mead at .

Flying around Denali was an amazing experience, it was a little overcast so we only got peeks of the summit through the clouds occasionally as we circled the mountain, but the views of the peaks and glaciers up close was unforgettable! We did the grand tour with and loved it. Next time, I want to go all the way up to 20,000ft and do the summit flight, but I had my mom with me who chickened out when she heard about wearing oxygen masks😂

My favorite hike I did in Denali National Park was the Savage Alpine Trail. It was a gorgeous day with some beautiful views and even a bear sighting! The trail is a little over 4 miles point to point, and I recommend starting at the Savage River Campground side as the hike up will be more gradual in that direction.

Day 1 in Denali National Park was started with a perfect view of sunrise hitting the summit of Denali, a sight few (only 30% of visitors to the park) get to see. Then, a morning spent on the bus along the park road and some wildlife spotting, a couple gorgeous hikes, including Horseshoe Lake and finally a sunset view over Denali from a different angle🥰

I loved exploring Fairbanks for the day! We learned about its past and history in gold mining, mined for our own gold at Gold Daughters Alaska, wandered downtown, and even tried reindeer sausage. Now I just want to come back in the winter to see the Aurora Borealis!

My first sightseeing experience in Alaska was nothing short of incredible! I did a flight from Fairbanks over Gates of the Artic National Park and landed in the town of Coldfoot. Surprisingly, even though I was above the Artic Circle, this was one of my warmest days in Alaska 😅

I crossed the border into Alaska nearly 2 weeks ago and it's already been so jam packed of fun adventures and beautiful views, I can't wait to share what I've been up to here, and I still have so much more to see🥰

Traveling to Alaska, I took the Alaska Highway all the way from Dawson Creek, Canada to Fairbanks, Alaska. At times, the road was winding through mountains, and at others it was rough and unfinished gravel. I saw so much wildlife, including two herds of bison, moose, reindeer, bears (both black and grizzly), and even a porcupine. Sometimes, I was the only one on the road as far as I could see, and sometimes I passed many other RVs and vans (all covered in dirt from driving on this highway). My favorite stop was Whitehorse where I shopped a bit, got a cocktail, and tried my first bison burger!

The next couple of days consisted of some pretty scenic camp spots, a hike to an old train wreck, a couple of waterfall hikes, and visiting the cute ski town of Whistler! It was a gorgeous roadtrip along the Sea to Sky Hwy and I can't wait to go back!

My first stop in Canada had some magical views😍 I loved driving the Sea to Sky highway in BC, Canada and the gondola was a fun stop to get up higher and enjoy the scenery! It's a little pricey but worth it (you can opt to hike up and save yourself the ticket price though). Once up top, there are trails and a suspension bridge as well as a shop and restaurants. It's a nice place to grab a drink and enjoy the vantage point!

May last Day in Glacier NP, I hiked to Hidden Lake and drove the Going to the Sun Road out of the park. It was so hard leaving, especially since there were so many more hikes I wanted to do, but I was ready to head to Canada and Alaska!

One of my favorite hikes I had done so far, the Grinnell Glacier Trail in Glacier NP was beautiful! It was about a 10 mile hike to the glacier and back and had stunning views of a turquoise glacier lake. It's one of the more popular hikes at the park, so definitely get there early to avoid crowds and get a parking spot at the trailhead!

The South Unit of the park was bigger and more crowded, but I saw more wildlife here! In this park section driving along the scenic road, I passed several prairie dog towns, a herd of bison, and wild horses. My favorite hikes were the Wind Canyon trail and the Boicourt trail, and the view from Buck Hill was gorgeous as well🥰

Theodore Roosevelt NP is separated into two sections, the North and South unit. I did a day at each and started with the North unit. The South unit is definitely bigger and has more to see, but the North was actually my favorite. It was more remote and had a lot less tourists! If you visit, definitely drive the length of the Scenic Drive, hike the Buckhorn trail to see the prairie dog town (there are a lot of them right off the road in the south unit, but on the hike you'll get this town pretty much to yourself while you watch the prairie dogs!), stop at the Riverbend Overlook, and hike to Sperati Point from the Oxbow Overlook.

Exploring the North Shore of Lake Superior and then a quick stopover at Voyageurs National Park before heading west! I loved driving the scenic highway along the lake and seeing Split Rock Lighthouse, Pebble Beach, Gooseberry Falls, and doing the Bean and Bear Lakes hike, followed by a short time seeing Voyageurs NP which is mostly water (I definitely want to go back and get out on the water!). It was great spending so much time at Lake Superior. There is so much lore surrounding it, and I'm glad I finally got to see it in person. It's magical 🥰
