Wow elephants are amazing animals.

An elephant's long march to Somalia shocks conservationists

Conservationists were amazed to learn that a collared elephant bull walked 137 miles from Kenya to Somalia showing that the species remembers ancient routes.

'Out of all the tracking we've done in Africa, these movements -- and these circumstances -- are exceptional,' said Iain Douglas-Hamilton. 'The wandering of this one bull across the entire expanse of Lamu district, from the Tana river to the Somali border, no-one has seen anything like this before.'

These vultures miscalculated how long they would be sitting waiting for a pride of lions to finish their meal. Now they will have to spend the night away from their nests, hopefully the lions will leave them enough scrapes to make the night away from home worthwhile.
