Palermo, the capital of Sicily is recognized as the most conquered city in history, and it boasts Europe's second-largest historical center. Palermo is among the cities boasting the largest number of UNESCO sites.

Modica is a city in southeast Sicily, Italy. It’s known for its Baroque buildings, like the Cathedral of St. George. As many of the cities in the Noto Valley, Modica was destroyed in the earthquake o 1693 and rebuilt again, Modica is also famous for the chocolate they produce

Siracusa (Syracuse in English) is a city on the East coast of Sicily, Italy. It's known for its ancient ruins. The Archaeological Park has the Roman Amphitheater, the Teatro Greco and the Orecchio di Dionisio, a limestone cave shaped like a human ear. Ortigia is a small island connected with Siracusa by a bridge, it is the historical centre of the city of Siracusa. Ortigia is also known as the Città Vecchia.

Mount Etna is the highest Mediterranean island mountain and the most active stratovolcano in the world. Located in Sicily close to Catania, We visited the Silvestri Craters (not active) situated below the top of Mount Etna which are formed of two main craters. They all originated from the massive eruption in 1892.

Taormina is a hilltop town on the east coast of Sicily. Near Mount Etna, (active volcano). The town is known for the Teatro Antico di Taormina, an ancient Greco-­Roman theater still used today. Near the theater, cliffs drop to the sea producing spectacular view.

Our The Godfather tour in Savoca in Sicily: a hilltop medieval village perched on a hill overlooking the Ionian coast in Sicily. Savoca is famous for being the filming location of several scenes of The Godfather movie by Francis Ford Coppola. This includes Bar Vitelli and the church of San Nicolò.

Busy morning visiting the two “Sassi” in Matera, very old neighborhoods with cave dwellings and rock constructions carved into the mountainside. Very Unique experience. Matera is UNESCO Heritage site since 1993 and 2019 Cultural Capital of the world.

Our Fabulous Dinner at Dimora Ulmo in Matera, what a fantastic way to say bye to Matera and continue our journey to Sicily.

Peru Adventure - The dune buggy tour in Huacachina is an amazing thrill ride - Huacachina has the largest sand dunes in South America.

Last day Northern Italian Adventure 2023 On our last day we ventured into Switzerland and toured the beautiful town of Lugano. We visited its beautiful parks and the church of Saint Giorgio with its spectacular views of Lake Lugano, tasted some of their local wines, shopped a little and tried some delicious gelato. Finally we came back to our hotel in Lake Como for our farewell dinner.

Day 3 Saturday 7/29 - Northern Italy Adventure 2023 Visited the Contratto winery (sparkling wines, vermouth), nice lunch at Michelin listed restaurant I Bologna and stroll through the streets of the village of Neive.

Day 2 - Northern Italy Adventure 2023. Left Milan en route to Piemonte, with a stop at Braida winery and lunch. And welcome reception at hour hotel in Piemonte.
