🌴 Disney Cruise Line has now updated the name of what was previously called the “Family Cabanas” to the Mabrika Cove Cabanas.

Why the change? Because on the west side of the island is ONLY these cabanas. The east side of the island has the events, play area, splash pad, characters, and more!

This is something I explain to my clients who are interested in a cabana at Lighthouse. I don’t recommend cabanas at Lighthouse IF it’s your first time or IF you plan on being in the main area - you’ll be away from your cabana for far too long!

I have experienced these cabanas and I love them! But we absolutely spent our entire day at our cabana and never visited the east side of the island that day.

☀️ make sure when you’re looking into a Disney Cruise, you book with a Travel Agent who is well versed in DCL and the offerings - like me! Disney Cruise Line is my passion and I love sharing the magic of it!

🌴 we are BACK at Lighthouse! I dare say…..I prefer this island. Yes there’s lot more sun, less shade (kind of?) BUT I love the sand and the sea and the lunchtime food and the fun so much here! Disney Cruise Line did an excellent job with this space and we trulyy love seeing the change and growth with each visit.

🐶 WHERE’S MAX!? • Guests at Disney World Resorts can participate in a “seek and find” character quest!
⚓️ at Yacht Club, it’s Max, Eric’s dog from The Little Mermaid.
• On your first day, find MAX! Take a picture and show the front desk - they’ll give you a button!
• Each day thereafter…..look for Max! Once we found him and showed the front desk, Brie received a dinglehopper sticker
