Sorry I hadn't posted anything lately. There's a lot for me to process currently. Keith's condition isn't good and I'm worried about his future quality of life . My doctor didn't like my EKG while doing my pre op so I'm seeing a cardiologist tomorrow, my already ailing sister in law has taken a bad turn and I've taken a pretty serious financial hit from someone I trusted and it's too close to my surgery to recoup the loss . Before surgery I've had to stop pain meds so they'll work afterwards and it's hard to get anything done in so much pain . I reckon when it rains, it pours . In this businesses day and times it's hard to remain relevant at your best sometimes, let alone your seemingly worst and I reckon I'll deal with that as it comes as well . ATM I'm just taking things one day, one thing at a time and trying to sort through it. Just letting ya'll know the reasons for my lack of communication. I hope this post finds you well and in good spirits. I really do appreciate all who stay tuned.

I know there's some of ya'll who watch this page that work on them and I just can't remember who ATM . my ice machine needs some attention that's past my pay grade and need someone to come look at it . Not asking for anything for free. Just would rather someone I know I can trust is all .

The fishing last night for whatever reason was kinda lackluster to say the least even though there was a pretty good spike . Had a couple tunas get off and one broke off but otherwise it was kinda slow on the bite despite being all over a ton of fish. They just weren't cooperating very well. Its possible they ran earlier on the tables or perhaps later than we stayed . We did manage to put a few gooduns in the sleepy water. The Bradbury's are long time repeat customers. I've told ya'll before that they're more like fishing with family now after soooo many trips . We only did a 4 hr last night because James at 93 even though quite spry about 4 hrs on the boat is enough especially when it got pretty bumpy out there. It wasn't in the forecast to be that windy but it is what it is . I do think that it was kinda hard detecting some of the bites because we pulled up quite a few blanks checking baits and never saw a bite . Anyway catch ya'll later.

Did a 4 hr this morning with Wesley and his dad Wes. Super nice folks who are fun to fish with. We caught quite a few crappie this morning but couldn't keep em all . The yeller fellers were everywhere this morning lol. If it fried it died. Lost some to the learning curve and had some get off on us . A productive morning with great company. Wesley got this trip for Wes as a father's day gift so crappie father's day Wes! We really enjoyed having ya'll aboard and look forward to next time guys! Catch ya'll later!

Morning ya'll. Haven't been posting much because I haven't had time to sit down for a minute the last few days. Sitting in the cell lot waiting to pick up some family flying in right now . Got phase one of Jeff's boat completed and delivered it back to him yesterday for his family trip . Ive got some private charter trips coming up and will likely offer an open boat this coming sat night at 9 pm so speak up if interested. I would have had a little time today if it wasn't for a clogged AC drain on the casa and need to do some maintenance on the ice machine it's always something 😅. Have a great day ya'll 😀.

Only Matt and Alan decided to sit for the pic but we had a full boat last night. We caught fish the whole time but the tuna action really didn't start heating up until later in the trip .they only got about half of em in the boat. 1 broke off several just got off . Threw back one short tuna , one short crappie and a handful of Itty bitty snotty's. A mix of new and repeat customers who all thanked us for a great time . Gotta keep this one short lots of work to do . Catch ya'll later.

Well evidently it rained enough to get the rd to the marina closed and blocked off by emergency vehicles doing a water rescue. Most of tonight's customer's are in for tomorrow and the ones that can't will get onthe next available open boat that works for them . I came back home put everything away and did some work on the install project until I've reached the point where it's too late to make that much noise. So for now to be continued........

Afternoon ya'll. Sorry I haven't been posting much but I've been busier than a dog with 2 noses lately. Between fishing, side jobs , and having family in town it's just been crazy 🤪 lately. I worked on a big install from 5a-2p today till the heat was just too much. Saturday and Sunday were both 20 plus hr days for me . Spent half of Monday working on the install and the other half picking up some things from the upholstery guy . Im getting things done though and busy is a good thing. I stopped for a spell this afternoon to make sone tacos and let ya'll know I'll do open boats Fri , Sat nights this week for anyone interested . I haven't been pushing private charters or sharing posts lately being so busy but I would like to work these nights on the big spikes because weather permitting the fishing will be good . Yall know we've been all over the hybrids that I call " ConroeTunas" along with a mixed bag of snotty's, yellow and white bass with the occasional ditch pickle . Departure time would be 9 pm . As always I supply everything and clean the fish. Open boat is around 5 hrs on the water and it's 130 per person, 30 dollar deposit to reserve a spot. There will be 6 spots available each trip . I included pics of our last few recent night trips. Remember we're Lake Conroe's original nighttime guide service and original open boat service. On the open boats you won't find a better deal to get on the water with an experienced , well reviewed professional guide. Almost 18 yrs now family owned and operated personally by yours truly. Can't catch em from the couch guys! Hope to see ya out there.
