📣The moment many of us have been waiting for- Disney announced the replacement service for the FastPass System!

🧞‍♂️ Genie+ will be a paid service
➡️$15/person each day at Disney World
➡️$20/person each day at Disneyland

Genie+ will be very similar to MaxPass at Disneyland. Guests will be allowed to select one attraction at a time to enter the “Lightning Lane” (former FastPass Entrance).

⚡️For an additional price you can pay to reserve “Lightning Lane” entrances for 2 headliner attractions each day- you do not have to have Genie+ to purchase.

Virtual Boarding Groups will still be in play for Rise of the Resistance, Spiderman WEB Slingers, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. (All 3 will be available for additional purchase of you are unable to get a boarding group).

What do we think about this new system? 🤯 It is heavy on the tech, so you will need to be prepped on the system before your travel and don’t forget your extra battery for your phones! We knew a paid service was coming so I can’t say I’m surprised.

✨ 𝔸𝕍𝔼ℕ𝔾𝔼ℝ𝕊 ℂ𝔸𝕄ℙ𝕌𝕊 (opening June 4 at Disney’s California Adventure) will have a Virtual Queue coming to 𝕎𝔼𝔹 𝕊𝕃𝕀ℕ𝔾𝔼ℝ𝕊 - A Spider-Man Adventure.

This queue will be similar to the boarding group system for Rise of the Resistance.

Today we spent the day at Universal’s Volcano Bay. I was skeptical... I just wasn’t sure if I was going to be a water park fan, but it was FUN!! The virtual queue system with the waterproof TapuTapu was super helpful — instead of spending an hour+ in line for each slide, you can spend it going around the TeAwa the Fearless River. It’s so smart!

My mama and I agree that the Krakatau Aqua Coaster is in the running for our favorite ride of the trip! I mean, that’s saying something! Great memories

Visiting Universal Orlando CityWalk? Highly recommend Toothsome Chocolate Emporium for brunch, lunch or dinner! The food was delicious and milkshakes look divine! Be sure to grab a reservation prior to your trip- we saw many people turned away at walk-up.

🚨 ⒽⓊⒼⒺ ⓃⒺⓌⓈ 🚨 —> beginning 𝙏𝙊𝙈𝙊𝙍𝙍𝙊𝙒 both Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World have updated their mask policy and will no longer be mandatory outdoors!

Masks will still be required indoors and on all attractions while social distancing remains at 3 feet.

With all this “one step closer to normalcy” news I’m holding my breath for some info on the return of FastPass 🤞🏼

❗️Just Released❗️”Disney’s After Hours BOO BASH” will take place select nights Aug. 10- Oct. 31. This party is a separated ticketed event and will include special performances, characters, music, treats and more!

Tickets go on sale next month with Disney World Resort guests getting first priority. If you’re thinking of a Fall trip friends- now is the time to book.

If you aren’t familiar with Disney After Hours, it’s a special event that’s open to limited number of guests for 3 hours after park closing. It offers low wait times at classic Magic Kingdom attractions and ghostly good fun for all!
