SalamAir, Oman's low-cost airline, is launching direct flights between Nairobi's JKIA and Muscat International Airport starting February 3, 2025. For a one-way ticket, the bi-weekly flights are priced at approximately KSh16,757.90 ($129.80). Flights from Nairobi to Muscat will depart every Monday, with return flights from Muscat to Nairobi on Wednesdays. This new route marks SalamAir's second African destination after Cairo, aiming to boost tourism and trade between East Africa and the Middle East.
