It’s Ryan Kelly here. It’s with a heavy - but optimistic - heart that I want to share some news with you.
After much deliberation and serious consideration, I have decided to take a short break for health reasons and consequently sadly won’t be on the forthcoming Celtic Thunder tour in the Fall.
This took a lot of thinking on my part and certainly wasn’t an easy decision to make. However, in the long term, I truly believe it is the right decision. My driving objective is to get back on the road with the lads with a regained strong and healthy mindset. I feel the only way to achieve this is get the professional help I need to return to that place where I belong - and once again live the life I have loved building.
My friend Ronan Scolard has very kindly agreed to step in at short notice to cover me. Please do go out of your way to support Ronan and the lads. I know it’s going to be a great tour and I am very proud of our new music and show. I’ll see everyone soon enough online here and back out on the road… xx
