🏊🏻 Last time swimming in Stormalong Bay at Yacht Club before it closes Jan-June 2025
🚂 Last time riding Thunder Mountain before it closes for at least a year Jan 6 2025, reopening sometime in 2026
🌲Last time on Tom Sawyer’s Island - EVER! 😭😭

As always we feel so very fortunate to be able to enjoy these amazing experiences…I love that my boys not only got to explore Tom Sawyer’s Island like I did when I was their age, but that they’ll remember it.

Not only do the sea urchins at Disney's Living Seas in Epcot occasionally wear Mickey ears, they also have seasonal wear - like this witch's hat during Halloween (and Santa hats at Christmas time)! Now I’m really curious if they have bunny ears at Easter?

✨A bit of pixie dust tonight!✨

My 10yo and I hit Magic Kingdom for the evening, and on the way out stopped for a treat at Starbucks on Main Street USA. Zack, the cast member taking our order, complimented my 10yo’s hat, who commented they had the same name (spelled one letter differently). Zack then let us know our order was going to be “on the mouse” - no charge!

We thanked him, then as we waited I opened the My Disney Experience app to give Zack a Cast Compliment! Kindness goes both ways 😊

✨Day 2 of using MultiPass!✨

Here’s our morning today at Epcot that I set up on Oct 25, and here’s our afternoon at Magic Kingdom!

When I initially made the Magic Kingdom LLs today, they were later times (7-9pm), and I spent probably about an hour during our mid-day break at the resort modifying them to the perfect (if I do say so myself) times you see here 😄 And I’ll be able to make more as we use these.

I pretty much like what I thought I’d like and don’t like what I didn’t think I’d like about MultiPass. Namely:

👍Having LLs ready to go for the day without having to make them at 7am
👎 Not being able to make additional Lightning Lanes without using existing ones

But, yesterday we stayed in Magic Kingdom until 5pm without taking a break, and it was nice being able to make LL after LL. Overall, still worth the money!

Pro tip: Plan your Disney trip over daylight savings time weekend and get an extra hour of vacation - free! 😄🕰️✨

We check into Grand Floridian for one night tonight, then head over to Yacht Club!

We missed Jersey Week last year so I’m really excited to be there for the Christmas decorations this year, and my husband is running the Wine & Dine half marathon on Sunday!!

Here is our first look at per person per day pricing. Premier Pass allows guests access to every Lightning Lane in their chosen park, without having to book return times! I think of it as “VIP Lite” 😄 (VIP tours are $450-900/hour for a minimum of 7 hours for up to 10 people - and sell out every day)

Currently, guests staying at deluxe Disney resort hotels are eligible to purchase Premier Pass 7 days prior to their trip.

Just like MultiPass, Single Pass, and VIP tours, this is OPTIONAL and not a required expense for your Disney trip!

The only constant in life is change, yet I still cannot believe it’s been an entire decade since Maelstrom in Epcot’s Norway pavilion closed on October 5, 2014, less than a month after its closure was announced.

The only constant in life is change, yet I still cannot believe it’s been an entire decade since Maelstrom in Epcot’s Norway pavilion closed on October 5, 2014, less than a month after its closure was announced. Replaced by Frozen Ever After which uses the same ride track, some nods to Maelstrom can be found in the queue - a smaller scale standing polar bear in Wandering Oaken's, a forecast board in the loading area that says "maelstrom,” and original puffins that can be seen toward the end of the ride. Who else loved and misses Maelstrom?? 🇳🇴
