I’ve done Disney World as a couple, with babies, with kids, with extended family, with the girls, participated in RunDisney events, stayed at almost every resort, and even got married and honeymooned there! Walt’s birthday is the perfect day to announce the debut of the first ever animatronic of Walt himself, at his original park:

"Walt Disney -- A Magical Life" will debut at the Main Street Opera House theater at Disneyland Park on May 16. The show features Walt's journey and culminates "in a visit with Walt in his office, brought to life ... through the magic of Audio-Animatronics."

🦖DINOSAUR ride fans, rejoice! You will still have all of 2025 to “Go get that Dino!” Disney has announced DINOSAUR will not close until 2026 to make way for Animal Kingdom’s new Tropical Americas day.

2025 will also see the debut of the MUCH-wished for nighttime parade Disney Starlight, the reopening of reimagined Test Track, a fiendishly fun Villains show “Unfairly Ever After,” FREE water park admission on your arrival day, and more!

(Also, a 60-day extension has been requested for discussions between Walt Disney World and the state of Florida, involving a permit that would be the first step in the demolition of Tom Sawyer’s Island and Rivers of America. Attention Mary Poppins fans!! 🌂✨

Tonight (11/27) on ABC at 9pm eastern, 20/20 is airing “The Untold Story of Mary Poppins!” This two-hour special will feature rarely seen footage, photos, and stories, including footage from the Mary Poppins premiere and demos of the movie’s classic songs written by the Sherman Brothers. Plus interviews with Josh Gad, John Stamos, Lin Manuel Miranda, two of Walt Disney’s grandchildren, and the movie’s original stars, Dick Van D**e and Julie Andrews.

AND, during the special, ABC is going to air the broadcast debut of The Last Verse, a 3.5 minute short celebrating the message of connection and hope behind the iconic Sherman Brothers song "It's a Small World,” including a new verse written by Richard Sherman in his final Disney contribution.
