NIITWIt Rallies A N.I.I.T. W.IT is someone who is “Not In It To Win It”. This rally is for those riders. Plus we will have stickers and possibly other swag available.

Dedicated to the sport of safe and fun long distance motorcycle riding, this group and its rallies are for those who don't take their riding too seriously, unless you're competing. in other words, it’s the kind of rider who is more interested in riding some great roads and seeing some cool stuff than in bringing home a trophy. In this rally, riders will lose points for having fun and doing those t

hings that cause them to….well….lose points…in a normal rally. What makes this one different is that everyone starts the rally with the same number of points, and the object is to LOSE AS MANY POINTS AS POSSIBLE. At the end of the day, the rider with the LEAST points remaining wins….or, loses as the case may be. So, if you like to take the time to sit down and have a nice meal while the clock is ticking, or you go out of your way to collect some stamps for your National Park or War Memorial Tour while on the clock, or even if you only have a 4 gallon tank with no auxiliary fuel, this is the rally for you. The NIIT WIT rally will happen on October 3, 2015, with a remote start (from anywhere you like) and ending at the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge, in the Queen Wilhelmina State Park 10 miles North of Mena, Arkansas, 12 hours later. We will be scoring and a finishers’ Banquet where awards will be presented to the 3 riders with the lowest score, and maybe one to the rider with the highest score. The cost to register is $85 for a single rider, or $115 for 2-up, but for that you get a T-Shirt, Rally flag, a meal, and a great place to finish at. We hope to see you there. You can register to come play with us on Ride Master. Rally Master Paul Tong and Ride Master Troy Martin hope you join us for a great time. Just don’t take the ride too seriously….we certainly don’t.

Hmmm....Ok so I've been planning to do something stupid for a while and this is it. Yeah we've all seen a 48 states in 10 days ride, and even the 49 states, but that wasn't stupid enough for me....oh no....you might be askuing why the heck I would put Alaska as the 3rd state in the route rather than the first or last.....well...That's where the stupid comes in. See it's not the third state,...it's actually the 4th state. Im doing all 50 states in 10 days. To do that the most practical solution was to fly to Hawaii from Portland and stage the bike there. Then when I ride in Hawaii I get gas and turn the bike in 2 hours before my flight back to Portland, and when I land its off to Alaska collecting Washington along the way. There's also a little SS2K gold on the way up to Portland. It'll be a tight schedule, but I've planned every stop and I have about a 12 hour buffer, so assuming everything goes as planned (yeah right) I should be fine.
