Cap City Tours Get acquainted with Ottawa through one of our unique and thoughtfully designed walking tours. Cap City Tours was born out of a love of walking!

Cap City Tours offers eco-friendly and peaceful ways to explore Ottawa, and the surrounding areas, through unique and thoughtful walking tours. When we say walking tours, we really mean it! We think of ourselves, and our fellow pedestrians, as contemporary flâneurs. The term flâneur is French for “stroller”, so in the spirit of the leisurely and curious flâneur, we proudly explore Ottawa on foot.

Our guides know our Nation’s Capital better than anyone else, especially because they wander the streets of Ottawa, and get to know where things are, the way only pedestrian experience could do! Cap City Tours’ guides truly love their jobs and their city, and they are eager to answer any question, from “Why was Ottawa chosen as Canada’s capital?” to “Where is the best sushi in town?”

In addition, we keep our groups to a manageable size as to keep our tours intimate and personal.
