On Wednesday, December 18th, members of TMG’s Capital Projects team and Human Resources department volunteered at Loudoun Hunger Relief (LHR). Food was sorted and organized and the true spirit of the season shone through by helping those in need.

It was a special team building opportunity, especially during the holidays. Wonderful work, TMG!

TMG’s Ali Fazeli and Brittany Harris recently attended the Maryland Governor’s Minority and Small Business Outreach Summit at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. The event included workshops and networking sessions with over 800 minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned small businesses and several prime contractors. Special thanks to Ali and Brittany for attending the summit, building new connections, and representing TMG!

On Friday, November 22nd, the TMG Falls Church Office volunteered at Clock Tower Thrift Shop in Falls Church, VA to support Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS). Volunteers helped set up Christmas trees, and priced and labeled holiday items along with other merchandise.

The Clock Tower Thrift Shop is a special program with NVFS. There are many unique and quality items in the shop that often attract collectors and shoppers alike. Buyers are not only helping to support a local business, but also helping those in need.

Several folks from the TMG Leesburg Secure team spent the evening of Friday, October 26th in Reston, VA for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light the Night Walk to honor the young daughter of a TMG employee who is battling cancer. The Light the Night event helps bring light to the darkness of cancer. Funds raised from this event support children and adults with cancer and help them thrive after treatment. The TMG team proudly raised a total of $4,325 in donations from this LLS fundraiser!

TMG hosted the 2024 Superintendent/Safety meeting on Monday, October 14th in Purcellville, VA. Our site teams and several members of the Executive Committee were brought together for learning, reflecting, and networking. A highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the Superintendent of the Year award. This year, TMG was honored to present four 2024 Superintendent of the Year Leadership Awards to Damian Rivas, Steve Carson, Ken Matuszewski, and Erin Long. Congratulations to all!

TMG was a proud sponsor of the Falls Church Education Foundation (FCEF) Run for the Schools Annual 5K Run/Walk event supporting Falls Church City Public Schools. The event was held on Sunday, September 15th and welcomed runners and walkers of all ages including TMG’s Dory, Mohamed, and Jason. This year marked the 20th anniversary of this special event!

TMG has been working with VDOT to relocate and run power to a repurposed 20-year-old communications building in Short Pump, VA. This project was awarded as a job order under our VA Department of General Services Central Virginia JOC contract and is on schedule to be completed by the end of the month!

On June 5th, TMG attended the SMPS DC’s Summer of Fun Celebration and Awards event. We were honored to receive the 2024 SMPS Marketing Communications Merit award for our enhanced website design in collaboration with Clockwork Design Group, Inc AND the People’s Choice Award, an award determined by votes! Many thanks to everyone who took the time to vote.

TMG was honored to be part of the Falls Church Education Foundation (FCEF) 20th Anniversary Gala and Auction on May 17, 2024, at the Washington Golf and County Club in Arlington, VA. A record number of supporters were in attendance and proceeds from the gala will support scholarship programs, training grants, student wellness resources and much more.

TMG’s Jonathan, Dory, and Jason along with his wife Megan attended the event. Jonathan and Dory (pictured), and Jason completed the Oak Street Elementary School Entrance Design Build project for Falls Church City Public Schools and were delighted to be at the Gala!
