They say not to judge a book by it's cover, but I usually buy records and books based on their cover alone - it usually works, because I know what I like.

Same in nature - i look at maps (real or google ones) and spot something that inspires me,
Most of the time i end up at a narrow dead-end on a cliff and forced to turn back,
Other times I end up in places like this:
