Snakes Don't Talk

If there's one poisonous snake
inhabiting your backyard
Chances are there are two.
You will have to look hard just to find one
and kill it before they breed.

Slithering it's way in silence
Close beside your home
It's purpose you could very easily
misconstrue.

It could mean you no real harm
Or it could seal your fate indeed.
Either way it is dangerous
To play games with these snakes
Or unknowingly find one by surprise.

For one thing we all know about snakes
Is that snakes don't talk and if they did
They would always just tell us lies.

So the safest thing to do is swiftly
Cut off its head.
Now even after death
a venomous snake can bite you…

So stay clear of its untruthful mouth
And make sure the snake is dead.
Always find the snakes before they find you because snakes don't talk and this is nothing new!
