Today marks the 57th anniversary of the passing of Walt Disney, but did you know that he's still in Disneyland? It's storytime.....
During the construction of Disneyland in the early 1950's, Walt wanted to oversee things and so an apartment was built in Town Square above the Fire Station, where Walt and his family would frequently spend the night so that they could keep an eye on things. A lit lamp meant that Walt was in the park. After his death, a permanantly lit lamp was put into the window so that everyone could see that Walt was still "there" watching over his park.
Disney has announced the 2024 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will begin on Feb. 28! This is one of the best Festivals with lots of fantastically beautiful topiaries as well as all of the yummy eats!
