🕶️ Full support, including luggage transfers and support car, and a local advisor fluent in English with you at all times;
🚲️ Bikepacking, including the local advisor’s company without the luggage transfers (so you will have to carry your clothes in the bikepacking bags we include in our bike rental);
🚴 Self-guided, where we take care of the logistics behind the reservations and activities, but you will be navigating solo along your itinerary.

One of our base camps for bikepacking, hiking or just relaxing out of the city. We love La Unión because it is only 1 hour away from Bogota, you can easily go by bike, public bus, or private transport, and you can visit some of our favorite people in the world, fellow bikepackers Alejandro and Lina.
This has been our starting point for hikes, cycling trips and yoga retreats since we started our company in 2018. This year, we organized 2 scouting trips with Alejandro to San Juanito and El Calvario to check the logistics behind Bikepacking.com’s upcoming Ruta Chingaza, which were a total success.

You might have heard about Zipaquirá if you are planning on visiting the Salt Cathedral or Egan Bernal's hometown. Besides that, the town is full of history! Save some time to visit its two plazas, learn about its foundation in the 1600s by the Spaniards in their project to colonize a big Muisca settlement; visit the Cathedral, that served as refuge to about 20 thousand rebels during the Independence, and enjoy the mix of colonial and modern architecture that relates to this long history.

Throwing it back to Carnaval de Negros y Blancos 2020, can't wait to the 2022 version. Biosafety measure will be taking in place. This carnival is part of Unesco's List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It takes place every year from the last days of December to the first days of January, in the city ofPasto (south-western Colombia). It is a festivity that arises from the mix of native and Spanish traditions. It is a party of all people, a party of freedom, tolerance, respect, game, art, creativity, joy and love.
