I’m still catching up on posts from our awesome preview of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Treasure!

Here are some photos of us checking out more of the ship including the pool area and Toy Story Splash Zone, along with a stop at Jumbeaux’s Sweets (Zootopia themed sweets shop), and of course the Haunted Mansion Bar which is a huge hit!!!

We have met some great friends throughout our travels, and were so excited when our friends Jerome and Cindy who we met on our Galapagos Islands cruise were in Disney World this week!

They invited us to dinner at Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs and it was UNREAL! The highlight of the night was definitely the thinly sliced Japanese A-5 Wagyu Beef, prepared tableside over an ishiyaki grilling stone. We also enjoyed the Sushi & Sashimi Imperial Tower, the famous Morimoto Peking Duck, craft cocktails, and tons of other amazing dishes!

I highly recommend this location during your next Disney World visit if you want an incredible dining experience!

I’m usually not one to win drawings, so I was literally freaking out when my name was called during the Royal Caribbean Coffee Talk event Vicki Freed hosted for the holiday season to win the Doggie Swag Bag prize!

Wally and Bruce were so excited when the box full of Royal Caribbean dog swag arrived today, and I can’t wait to go on a dog toy shopping bonanza for them with the gift card!

My stay at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort was a dream, and I’m already planning when I can stay there again!

I posted photos of our room the other day, but I wanted to share some of the shots of the new amenities you can find here as well! This includes the Wailulu Bar & Grill, a brand new 24 hour Fitness Center, and a pool complete with a Moana themed splash pad!

Guests of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the Island Tower will share amenities across the board throughout the resort, so it doesn’t matter which section you stay in!

The view from my Theme Park view One Bedroom Villa was everything I imagined it would be! The fireworks views were breathtaking!

🌺Wow is all I can say!!!🌺

Today is the grand opening of the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! This expansion project has been years in the making, and was much needed as there are not many options for Suite/Villa type of rooms within the existing buildings at this resort!

We booked a One Bedroom Villa, Theme Park View room for tonight to get the full experience! This room can sleep up to 5 guests, plus an additional infant age 2 or under. It is extra spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, washer & dryer, and a nice living area and expansive balcony!

With this view category, we can see both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on the horizon, so I’ll definitely be ready for the fireworks tonight from both parks! Our room is beautifully decorated, and I am also loving the resort grounds, which includes a new pool complete with a Moana Splash Pad and a new open air bar/grill!

Disney Castaway Cay is such a beautiful private island experience in the Bahamas! We stopped here during our Disney Treasure preview sailing over the weekend!

Our weather was definitely a roller coaster of scattered showers and beautiful pops of sunshine, but rain or shine this paradise never disappoints! You’ll enjoy complimentary food, soft drinks, ice cream, chairs, umbrellas and more!

After we got back onboard, we spent some time in the Adult Pool, which is off of the very back of the ship with beautiful island views- we even spotted a rainbow!

Probably one of the funniest things we’ve ever done…..

We dined at Palo Steakhouse on the all new Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Treasure last night which has PHENOMENAL food. This is an adults-only Beauty and the Beast inspired restaurant that combines steakhouse dining with authentic Italian cuisine!

They have a menu dedicated solely to specialty water. Nick and I decided to blind taste test a $15.50 bottle to see if we could identify it against the complimentary still water.

We both said “oh this is the good one right here by a landslide” simultaneously, only to find out we picked the free water!🤣🤣🤣🤣 I will say that the Australia blend had a heavier mineral taste which we weren’t fans of.

Next time we sail we shall spring for the $32 Canadian iceberg blend and put it to the test!!

Disney Cruise Line is not only fun for the kids, but for the adults as well! Jason is a trooper and was willing to participate with me as one of the couples in “Match Your Matey”, which is an adult-only game show offered on Pirate Night on the all new Disney Treasure ship!

Three couples are chosen- a couple who has been together less than 5 years, less than 20 years, and more than 20 years! You are asked questions while the other half is in isolation and answers must match.

Luckily, we vibe pretty well and are also super
competitive as it is, so we were the proud winners!!!

We are definitely loving Disney Cruise Line’s brand new ship, Disney Treasure!

DCL definitely focuses on families when it comes to the overall guest experience, and their kids clubs are incredible.

I have included photos of the Disney Oceaneer Club, which is for children ages 3-10, and it’s a small world nursery, for infants age 6 months to 3.

You can “slide on into” the Disney Oceaneer Club, which offers complimentary childcare and does not require any advance reservations. It will be open throughout your voyage, and stays open during the evenings until around Midnight/1 a.m. Themed areas include Fairytale Hall (Princesses), Marvel Super Hero Academy, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, and Mickey & Minnie's Captain's Deck! You’ll find special activities and characters appearing to lead experiences for the kids! There are also Open House sessions where guests of all ages/adults can visit to have open playtime.

For the infants, reservations are recommended for it’s a small world nursery as the space here is more limited and there is a small cost of $9 per hour. This location also stays open late at night, and it has cribs for early bedtime or even afternoon naps while the adults enjoy a spa experience or want to remain at the pool during this time!

We are so proud to have been invited by Disney Destinations to sail on an exclusive 3 night preview cruise on Disney Cruise Line’s brand new ship before it begins public sailings on December 21!

This is the sister ship of the Disney Wish and is inspired by Walt Disney's love of exploration and immerses guests in an adventure theme! It will sail 7-night voyages from Port Canaveral, rotating between Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries!

Happy Monday….sort of!!!🥴

I’m back from my cruise but we have an extended internet outage at home! We were told they are trying to get us service back by tomorrow.

Our “We Are Family” promos are supposed to end tonight, but I have decided extend the qualifying deadlines to noon tomorrow since I am a bit behind today with a combo of trying to work at a local Starbucks and my spotty cell service from my house as it is.

💫🛳️I can now say I have personally blown the horn of a cruise ship!!!🛳️💫

Yesterday we purchased some special experiences on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas during their live auction for Make A Wish Foundation!

Today we got to experience both blowing the ship’s horn with Captain Gus as we departed Perfect Day at CocoCay, and then we received a private Q&A and tour of the engine control room with the Chief Engineer Ivo! Our friends Ashlyn and Mike joined us for all of the excitement!

We truly loved these special looks behind the scenes and learning more about these special roles! It’s remarkable how hard the Engineering team truly works to provide the highest level of safety you can imagine for guests and crew while they sail on Royal Caribbean ships!
