On Monday, July 22, 2024, Skal Osaka’s July meeting was held at Conrad Osaka, embracing the hotel’s signature color, purple. Guests were encouraged to incorporate purple into their attire as part of the evening’s theme. The event began with a cocktail reception featuring Conrad Osaka’s exclusive summer cocktail.

The dinner menu emphasized sustainability, showcasing free-range eggs and locally sourced vegetables from the Kansai region. A total of 28 attendees, including 6 special guests, savored the inventive dishes while enjoying the breathtaking Osaka cityscape from the hotel’s sky-high banquet room.

SKAL Osaka's May meeting was held at the Centara Grand Hotel Osaka on May 22, with a total of 29 participants, including 28 members and 1 guest.

Our event began with a hotel tour led by Mr. Yamazaki, Director of Sales at Centara Grand Hotel Osaka. Following the tour, guests were welcomed at the hotel's signature rooftop bar, 'Clued Deck,' where they enjoyed a stunning sunset accompanied by live DJ music. Dinner took place in the Lotus Room, starting with a toast with SKAL Osaka Special Edition Brut and followed by a traditional Thai dance performance. Attendees savored creative dishes prepared by Executive Chef Asano.

Thank you to Mr. Nakagawa, General Manager of Centara Grand Hotel Osaka, and his wonderful team for a great display of warm Thai hospitality!

On April 1, 2024, SKAL Osaka's April meeting was hosted at the Imperial Hotel Osaka, located in Sakuranomiya—one of Osaka's most renowned cherry blossom spots. The Imperial Hotel Osaka offers a splendid view of cherry trees along the river.

Our event began with a cocktail reception in the Apollon Room, followed by dinner in the Pisces Room on the 22nd floor. Unfortunately, it was a bit too early for the cherry blossoms to be in full bloom on this day but thanks to the hotel's warm arrangements, cherry blossoms were decorated at the party venue, allowing guests to enjoy a sakura viewing experience indoors.

The menu featured spring-themed dishes, with one highlight being butter shaped like asparagus that surprised all attendees. Along with freshly baked baguettes prepared by the talented culinary team, these additions added a lively touch to the event.

Thank you to Mr. Iio and the entire team at Imperial Hotel Osaka for their wonderful hospitality. We all enjoyed celebrating the spring delight!

SKAL Osaka Golf Tournament 15th May.2024
We held a golf tournament at Ono Grand Coutry Club old course at Kobe today. It rained AM, but it became sunny in the afternoon. We enjoyed playing golf. And we'll introduce the winner、Winner is Mr Yuki Hibino. 2rd Mr Nakauchi, 3rd Mr Kusunoki.
We will be held Tournament in this fall again.

On March 4th, 2024, SKAL International Osaka held the National Congress for SKAL Japan in the historic banquet room 'Aoi Den' at the Westin Miyako Kyoto Hotel, welcoming 57 members and guests from SKAL Tokyo, Nagoya, and Japan's sister clubs in Taiwan: Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.

After the welcome reception, guests were escorted to the 'Aoi Den' Banquet Room through the hotel's heritage garden, meticulously designed by the renowned Japanese garden designer Jihei Ogawa.

This wonderful evening began with a captivating 'Kyogen' performance accompanied by live drumming and flute, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the rich, traditional Japanese culture rooted
in Kyoto. Throughout the event, participants enjoyed exquisite Japanese cuisine and the exceptional hospitality of the Westin Miyako team.

It was a remarkable and memorable night for all attendees from Japan and Taiwan, fostering an amazing opportunity for the friendship of international Skalleagues.

Our February 2024 monthly meeting took place on February 19, starting at 18:30, at Zentis Osaka, located in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka.

Zentis Osaka is the first establishment of the accommodation-focused boutique luxury hotel brand developed by Palace Hotel, under the theme “Encounters of a New Kind.”

It was the first time for SKAL Osaka to hold our monthly meeting at Zentis Osaka as a venue. The dinner venue was the “UPSTAIRZ” restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. Participating members enjoyed a French course made with seasonal ingredients sourced from within Japan, while experiencing the exceptional hospitality provided by Mr. Akiyama, the General Manager of Zentis Osaka, and his team.

2024年2月のマンスリーミーティングは、2/21(月)18：30より大阪の北新地にあるZentis Osakaで開催されました。

「Encounters of a New Kind 感性が、深呼吸する場所。」をテーマとする、パレスホテルが手掛ける宿泊主体型ホテルブランドの 1 号店Zentis Osakaがスコール大阪のパーティ会場となるのは今回が初めてです。

ホテル内2階にあるレストラン「UPSTAIRZ」を会場に、参加したメンバーたちは、日本国内から選りすぐられた旬の素材を活かしたフレンチコースを楽しみながら、総支配人秋山氏をはじめとするZentis Osakaチームによる卓越したおもてなしを堪能しました。

The first monthly meeting of the Skal Club of Osaka in 2024, followed by the AGM, was held at the Marriott Osaka Miyako Hotel on January 22, 2024. In this gathering, the new president, Mr. Kusunoki, was introduced, and the president's medal was handed over by Mr. Torii.

The theme for the cuisine was seafood, and the members enjoyed a wide variety of seafood dishes including crabs, sashimi, a sushi station, grilled abalones, and more.

On December 18, SKAL Club of Osaka held its Christmas party at the Ritz-Carlton Osaka. The theme was "A Cool Night Sun Glasses Edition". We've enjoyed a ticket auction sponsored by Delta Air Lines, cool performances, and a raffle to win tickets to a luxury hotel, making it a fun party with family and guest participation.

The October monthly meeting of the Skal club of Osaka was held at Kobe Portopia Hotel.
Mr. Yamazaki, the new executive chef of Kobe Tamura, who took over from Tokyo Tamura, served Japanese cuisine that was full of seasonal flavors and stimulated all five senses. The wonderful jazz music and delicious sake were also intoxicating. Thank you, Nakauchi-san, for all your hospitality.

On July 1, Hyatt Regency Osaka was rebranded and renamed Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay. Tonight, family and friends were invited to the July meeting of the Skal Club of Osaka. Tonight’s appropriate attire was Summer Casual and Hawaiian.

SKAL club of Osaka AGM was closed successfully. The ALICE exhibition is currently being held at the Harukas Museum of Art and is tied up with Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel, so canapés during cocktail hour and dinner at the reception were served with an ALICE theme.
The menu on the table was prepared in the style of ALICE with a little mystery in the culinary expressions.

不思議の国のアリスの展示が大阪マリオット都ホテルとの共催でハルカス美術館で開催中ですが、カクテルタイムのカナッペやディナーはアリスをテーマにして提供されました。テーブルに置かれたメニューにはアリス風に捻られた何とも謎の料理表現が。

SKAL Club Osaka Christmas Gala Dinner Party was held at Ritz Carlton Osaka on 12Dec.
Former Japanese national football team player Mr. Keiji Tamada joined the party as a guest, and a live piano duo with classical soprano singer added to the party atmosphere.
Mr. Tamada's prediction was that Argentina would win!!
