The Archive Journals!

A look back at some of our favorite projects from over a decade of work. We have been helping brands tell stories and shooting commercial campaigns with companies we believe in — and we are back to tell more. From wilderness apparel to artisan still-life — we are continuing to expand our roster of clients now South Florida!

After a short hiatus focusing on our sister brand we have evolved and grown into a full production company with a studio located in Boca Raton, Fl. While we still shoot all over the country— we are shooting in-house content daily in the tropics.

Follow along while we share past projects we love through the Archive Journals and the stories of how we have evolved and grown over the past 11 years!

Daydreaming of past days spent oceanside in my little home on wheels. This past summer on the road has really brought so much inspiration into my current work over on — and I can’t wait to have the art and print shop back up and running to share it all with you! Should be done by the end of the week — fingers crossed ☺️✨🌈

A little Van tour of my Sprinter conversion that I designed last year with my father. It was built through my family’s architectural wood working company and I think for a first go at van interiors we did pretty great. I took her on her first trek cross country this past summer and explored Colorado, Utah and California. She still needs a name — but what do you think of this little piece of wild luxury ?

Cheers to another full week on the road. Days spent driving down dirt roads, sipping wine with the sunset and sharing the land with the locals.

This sunset came to us week one in western Kansas. We found our way down a 5 mile dirt road to a charming little vineyard in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. Who knew there were grapes being grown in Kansas - I certainly didn’t, but that didn’t stop me from tasting as many flutes as I could after a 4 hour drive and before closing time.

Shiloh Vineyard & Winery — Our favorite vineyard and winery we spent the night at week one. Charming, delicious and beautiful. We left with 6 bottles and a new love for Midwestern Wine.

Hello my name is Valerie and dare I say I am a van life person now …. ?!?! 🚐

ONE MONTH on the road and my has it been a whirlwind! Originally I planned to document my travels from day one — but as the first exhausting week went by and then the second , I realized that I needed this first month to myself. I needed time to just breathe when I had a moment and not spend my nights editing.

So I told myself — you have one month of vacation, then back to work. So here I am— 4 weeks in, still exhausted, still trying to get my bearings about myself but shall I say— getting there?!

To live on the road is definitely not for the faint of heart. It sometimes feels like you haven’t slept in days and all you want is a sofa to lay on and movie to watch. It’s usually always too cold or too hot and doing simple tasks are really never simple. Weather is crazy — It tends to rain right after you set up camp and your very tiny space becomes messy in a blink of the eye. So acceptance of a dirty floor is really step one.

But with those lows always comes highs and boy are they pretty from up here. This first month has been spent mostly in Colorado. We took one week to travel from south Florida to Boulder and then 3 weeks exploring. We went to Rocky Mountain NP, Garden of the Gods, Pike National Forest and camped along the 11 mile Canyon. We camped at Grand Lake, Great Sand Dunes, Lake George in Durango and Telluride town park. We ate amazing food, cooked under the stars and shared so much time with old friends and new. It was beautiful - it was messy and it was cold —— but boy was it worth it.

Excited to share my journey with you now… There will be some looking back at the past month of travel mixed in with our next adventure in Utah ✨🏜️🚐

If you have come across the new Parklands Book then you may have seen 9 pictures of mine from past adventures to Yosemite, Joshua Tree, Zion and Everglades NP✨

Always thrilled to see my work in print. Swipe for 3 of my favorite photos from the book - stoked to have the Joshua Tree centerfold and the classic shot of Yosemite’s Half Dome.

Happy to share it with my favorite who magically made it into the book in one of my shots. She who has been my adventure sidekick for years and never hesitate’s to jump when I say so ( even when she probably shouldn’t 😝)

I will be starting my biggest adventure yet in only a few weeks in my new Camper Van - so I hope you come along with me for the ride— and always, stay wild ✨🚐🧡

Van Build Update 🚐
We Have Power! Over the past week we invited the fab to come school us on Solar + Power. They Built out an amazing Solar system for us and gave us so much advice on the million questions we had. A big thank you to these two rockstars who installed this beautiful solar and power system. So excited to have met Katelynn + Ethan and looking forward to future adventures with these two ✨

I finally uploaded this batch of photos from Christmas eve and I couldn’t not share these beauties. I mean these “ Veggie” Roses are floral perfection. I have had a new Christmas eve tradition these past few years, where I spend the afternoon arranging flowers for my family and friends. It’s when I’m most happiest at the holidays. Playing with flowers, in the cold, listening to music and awaiting the week of events. Take me back! ✨❤️🌺
