Basco, Batanes - Known as the smallest province in the Philippines, Batanes is very inviting especially for tourists who seek for a peaceful vacation. One of the things that travelers will like about this place is its zero crime rate. Batanes has 6 municipalities namely Sabtang, Itbayat, Basco, Uyugan, Mahatao, and Ivana. It has a desirable climate but the best time to visit is during summer. Residents of Batanes use Ivatan as a dialect but foreign vacationers need not worry because people in this place can understand English very well.
