Sol del Mar is yours truly’s personal blog on travel and leisure, focusing on the beauty of the sun, sand and sea. My name is Lynda Sol del Mar-Clavano, quite a mouthful I know but to family and friends I am fondly called Lyn-lin, or just Lynda or simply Lyn. Well, as you might have already figured out, the name of this site is actually part of my name but it also translates in Spanish – “Sun of t
he Sea”. But no, I’m not Spanish, (not that there’s something wrong with that) but I am proudly a Filipina, a Cebuana to be specific, born and raised in Cebu, Philippines and through this site I can show you the magnificence of the Sun and the Sea of this beautiful country. Of course, I would later on feature travels outside of the Philippines and I would be inviting friends to also share their travels around the world in this page. I would not claim that I am an expert in travel as I don’t think I have traveled and experienced enough but I would try to impart with you what I know and give you some tips to help you travel in the places that I have been to.
