Our Story - My Paradise Planner

Our agency was founded in 2008, by owner Kira Solomon, at the age of twenty-one. After traveling to Sandals Negril in 2007, she had completely fallen in love with the resort chain and the level of hospitality she had experienced from the brand. Upon leaving, she decided that she wanted to send everyone she knew to Sandals Resorts. From that concept, a plan grew, and that plan turned into My Paradise Planner. Somehow, that one-woman home based agency in 2008, turned into an award winning agency with over a dozen agents all part of the growing My Paradise Planner team.

It’s our agency’s passion for what we do, and the brands that we sells, that make us so successful. Our agents believe in the Sandals & Beaches brand. We have chosen to partner with the brand, before all others, and have been recognized with many awards and honors over the past decade to prove that our partnership with Sandals & Beaches is a strong one.

But as we grew, we also branched out. Some of our agents focus their specialities on non-Sandals and Beaches Resorts brands. We’re also top level specialists of other resorts such as Hard Rock Resorts (and Unico Resort) & Karisma (El Dorado, Generations, Azul, and Nickelodeon Resorts). We have an incredible team that has worked hard to expand their knowledge of various destinations around the world giving our clients an endless variety of options when working with us. Anywhere you want to go, you know you’re in good hands with our team.

We pride ourselves on treating every vacation as if it was our own. Travel is an investment, and our agents understand that. We work tirelessly to make sure our clients have the best possible travel experience, and we do it happily, because we believe the old proverb that says “love what you do and you never work a day in your life”.
