Maruthom-Ranipuram-Pullody (RANIPURAM HILL RANGE) is a hilly area in Kassargod district in Kerala with a high altitude from sea level. The hills are covered with mist and snow, which attracts tourist to this place. There are some bus services to Kanhangad from pullody and jeep trips to Kallar and Kolichal. Ranipuram and Kottencheri are two famous hill stations located in near by Pullody. Ranipuram

and Kottancheri forests are contiguous to Talacaveri wildlife sanctuary of Karanataka and are to be included in the new Greater Talacaveri biosphere / National Park. Reserve forests of this range of Kasaragod district should be included in new NP for better protection of wildlife. Being a hillside area in western Ghats Pullody also has many tourist spots or attractive locations and resorts especially 'Satva, Thoonkanpara, View point, Brahmi Scripts (dating back to 300 BC), Palakolli waterfalls, sunset view point in pady etc.
