Welcome to our new adventure! May I introduce M/Y ULTRA. She is a 63' Lagoon Power Catamaran. Captain Vince Linda Stracener will be her crew. I would say NEW crew but as she was born in 2017 we are her first and only!

These are pictures of the 2016 Lagoon...NOT ULTRA. Because she is so new...we have not had a chance to professionally photograph her yet. We will be spending the summer getting her ready for the new charter season. Our delivery from Ft. Lauderdale to the Virgin Islands is scheduled for October. As we travel through the Bahamas we will keep you all posted with new pics.

Rates coming soon!

How can you combine the requirements of offshore cruising with the high standards of a luxury motor yacht? Many yachtsmen have long wanted to expand their horizons with a long range, good performance motor yacht in total comfort and serenity.

Thank You Captain Vince for saving my life!!...sincerely..the turtle.

This poor little guy was entangled in a fish net. You can see how long he had been there struggling to get free. His fins were worn to the nub. :(

Vince calmed him and cut him free.

T’was the night before Christmas and all through the waters
Not a creature was stirring, not even the yachters
The stockings were hung by the portholes with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas would soon be there
The captains and crews were snug in their beds
While visions of rum drinks danced in their heads
When out on the beach there arouse such a clatter
The fish jumped out of the water to see what was the matter
Santa and his reindeer had crashed on the sand
Little did Rudolf know this was planned
Santa threw off his clothes, hat, boots, and belt
Then jumped in the water to see how it felt
The water was warm and emerald blue
And Santa decided that he was through
He excitedly wrote Mrs. Claus a long letter
To tell her he had found a place that was better
She jumped on plane and said bye to the elves with laughter
And she and St. Nick lived in the Virgins happily ever after

A hero among us!!

SO PROUD OF MY HUSBAND! Vince saved a life last night! While having dinner at a local pizza restaurant…a lady at the next table got up and grabbed her throat with obvious fear in her eyes. Her family…not knowing what to do rushed to her side…in fear themselves. I noticed this and grabbed Vince who was closest and said “Vince that woman is choking!” He rushed over with no hesitation.
He asked the woman “Mam are you choking?”
She nodded yes.
“Mam can you breathe?”
She nodded no.
As if he had done it a thousand times he grabbed her around the waist and performed the Heimlich maneuver and out popped her pizza!
When all was said and done she walked over to him and said
“Thank you for saving my life”
Vince replied “It was my pleasure”

I'm proud to say that Julie Brown the mermaid is a super great friend!!!! The story is priceless!!!

One of the subjects of last week's water shoot in the BVI. Now here's the back story:

We went to the Baths early in the day before anyone was there. Staying on a private 58' Hatteras made that easy. When we began photographing the captain's mate in a mermaid tail, I had an idea. I told the mermaid that when people would enter the rock labyrinth know as The Baths on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, that our mermaid should swim away quickly so that no one can see her. They are mythical creatures, after all. After more than a half an hour we heard our first voices of people coming into the cathedral. It was a young girl and her mother. The mermaid swam away but not out of sight and Janet and I hid where we could watch. As luck would have it the little girl entered the cathedral first. See stopped dead in her tracks when see saw the mermaid frolicking quietly in the back of the cave. She bounced up and down on her feet and called softly, but excitedly, to her mommy... "Mommy a mermaid!" The little girl was still and didn't move, eyes locked on our mermaid. The mermaid began motioning her to come closer. The little girl inched into the shallow water of the cave closer to our playful, but shy, mermaid. Eventually the mom saw us hiding behind a rock and all three of us watched the little girl in total amazement get ever so closer to her discovery, still floating playfully and motioning the little girl to come closer. All this in complete silence, except for the gurgling sounds of waves entering the cave and the echoes. Eventually the little girl got close enough to touch the mermaid to see if she was real. She recoiled after touching the wet, scaly skin and began to swim next to our mermaid. We learned from her mother the girl was from Brazil and she had a fascination for mermaids,Everything about this encounter was precious, unbelievable and fantastically surprising for us and the little girl and her mother. For more than an hour and a half we were the only ones there to witness this mythical encounter except for the little girl from Brazil and her mommy. Upon exiting the cave the second people of the morning were about to enter when I told them what they had just missed. They looked at me like I was lying. I said "No really, there was a mermaid here just minutes ago" They looked at me like I was nuts. I said "Look I'll show you" I produced my camera from my bag and showed them one image similar to this and said "Really I told you" all they could say, with eyes wide open was "Wow!"
