❄️ PERFECT Leavenworth, Washington ❄️ winter itinerary
❤️ We lived in Leavenworth for a ski season. We visit often, but we typically try to avoid peak times & “touristy stuff”. But this time we went full tourist & it was great!!
👉🏼 For our Leavenworth map (with our favorite spots pinned & lots of tips!) enter your details and I’ll send it right to you 😘 two-wandering-soles.kit.com/leavenworth-washington
DAY 1
🍺 Beer by the fire at Icicle Brewing. Tip: Try their Dark Persuasion beer (German chocolate cake ale)!
Alt: Blewett Brewing (their woodfired pizza is 🤌🏼)
🍝 Dinner at Larch (res): Handmade pasta & craft cocktails (Casarecce is insanelyyyy good)
Alt: Yodelin Broth Co
✨ Lights on Front Street
DAY 2
🥯 Breakfast at Bavarian Bagel Co: seriously good bagel sandwiches (long lines!)
Alt: Argonaut (breakfast sandwich w/ maple sriracha is soooo good; great coffee)
🦌 Leavenworth Reindeer Farm (Book in advance!) We were really impressed! Bonus: Santa is there in December 🎅🏽
🛍️ Downtown shopping: There are so many stores in town. Here are our favorite (less-crowded) stores:
💜 Posy: artisan goods & locally-made items
💛 Jubilee: fair trade gifts from around the world
💚 Plant Ally: cute shop w/ plants & pretty things + a cafe
🎄 Tip: If you have kids who need a break, Festhalle has free crafts, snacks, gingerbread houses & Santa!
🍦 Sweet treat: the “popular” place to go is the Gingerbread Factory (& it’s great!), buuuut the lines are crazy.
👉🏼If you can handle ice cream in the cold, Whistlepunk is one of our favorites! Seasonal flavor rec: caramel apple (def upgrade to waffle cone)
🎿 Lake Wenatchee State Park: Compared to town, it’s sooo peaceful. If it’s snowy during your visit, it’s a great place for XC skiing & snowshoeing.
☃️ Dinner at Wildflour: Book an igloo for a wintery experience! FYI it’s located outside of town. (Book in advance, +$60 igloo fee) 👉🏼 T
