Love them or hate them, a Rage in the cage work like a charm when put in the right spot… then again so would a field point 😂. After letting an arrow fly and finding it covered in blood is a sure sign of relief and a short tracking job to follow.

We are looking to hire 1-2 additional team members to start during the last week of May or first week in June.
Must have horse and/or mule experience. Riding, saddling, general care understanding is essential. Mountain packing experience a plus.
Must have your own vehicle.
Fly fishing experience.
Ability to drive a truck and trailer a plus.
Must have good references.
Pay based on experience, includes housing.
Interest in big game hunting - not essential - but if interested and competent this position will lead to bear/deer/elk guiding opportunities in the Fall.
If you want the adventure of working in a true wilderness environment, here’s your chance. In a season with us you will garner more mountain experience than most outdoorsman gain in a lifetime. Whiners and those afraid of physical work need not apply.

It always amazes me how well a 400-500lb animal can hide away in the aspens. If it weren’t for her nose sticking out, I’d have never seen this cow elk... when she turns her head back you realize how easy it would be to miss her.

My September season is all over the place year-to-year... one year it’ll be sheep mania then the next it will be bears... but it seems like the white puffballs always get on the schedule. 2021 is already stacked up hunting billies. Good times up in the nasty terrain.

Running around in Florida’s sunshine... although it’s awesome, I’d be lying if I didn’t say it makes me reminisce a little on packing elk out of the wilderness on those damn cold Fall days... hopefully I can recall the warmth in a few months

This time of year, with a little green grass creeping up along the Colorado mountain roads, gets me missing my Springs running around chasing bears up in British Columbia. Awesome terrain, tons of bears and good friends. We caught up to this grizz about 20mins later on a snow slide.

This is the first year the CPW is giving out a moose tag in units 25 and 26 in Colorado. There are some big ones that haven’t ever been hunted!

As always, had an awesome time being on podcast. The draw is coming up in Colorado, so we talked a lot about my thoughts on strategy, units, regulation changes, etc... We also touched on chronic wasting disease, wolves, and the future of wildlife management here in CO.... Might be fun to do a podcast just on those topics at some point! Hope it’s helpful.
