In the dead heat of a Tel Avivian summer, Yotam and I met for the first time on his back porch. On this same day, I moved in with him and we’ve been together ever since. During our first 6 months together in Israel, we hosted nearly 30 people in our one bedroom apartment. With our living room couches, floor mattresses, a porch and a hammock we would fit anywhere from 1 to 8 travelers, plus the two of us and our dog, Rujum. We loved it!
