When hosting overseas guests at your house;

🤗Always have a room/s ready and clean and equipped with clean towels (enough for their duration of stay( body towel and hair towel)

🤗provide breakfast, lunch and Dinner if they are not planning on doing any of these at restaurants during their stay
🤗treat them to a meal at an affordable restaurant on their first night
🤗provide coffee and tea time snacks: local or homemade biscuits/cookies, sandwiches and drinks
🤗ask them if they have favorite cereals, spreads, drinks and so on for you to buy before they arrive
🤗take them sight seeing around your town (if it has anything to offer) or show them your local mall.
🤗help them with contact info for uber, shuttles, busses, taxis or trains.
🤗offer to do their washing or if they prefer to do it themselves show them how your washing machine works. Or direct them to a local laundromat

What is Snail Mail ?
Snail mail refers to letters carried by conventional postal delivery services. The phrase refers to the lag-time between dispatch of a letter and its receipt, versus the virtually instantaneous dispatch and delivery of its electronic equivalent, e-mail.
It is also known, more neutrally, as paper mail, postal mail, land mail, or simply mail and post
Snail mail penfriends or penpals are those that communicate with one another through the postal system, rather than on the internet which has become the more common medium, via postcards, letters and parcels

What is a penpal ? finding someone
• to practice reading and writing in a foreign language,
• to improve literacy,
• to learn more about other countries and life-styles,
• and to make friendships with
As with any friendships in life, some people remain pen pals for only a short time, while others continue to exchange letters and presents for life. Some pen pals eventually arrange to meet face to face; sometimes leading to serious friendships, relationships, or even marriage.
Pen pals come in all ages, nationalities, cultures, languages and interests.
Pen Pals may seek new penfriends based on their own age group, a specific occupation, hobby, or select someone totally different from them to gain knowledge about the world around them.
Traditionally Snail Mail would be exchanged, as there is something amazing about receiving a hand written letter or a parcel and then writing back.
A more modern version however is E-pals or App pals….E pals is exchanging emails with someone while App pals is exchanging mail via applications on smart phones…like What’s app. We will share links to snail mail, email and app pal sites later on
