WHAT WE DO

The world is your oyster, but are you really prepared to face the many challenges associated with overseas travel and the potential dangers that could lie ahead. Some of the main risks to travellers are illness, crime and problems with finances and documents. Having mixed emotions of excitement and nerves can be normal, however nerves can be easily overcome, and with a little help the most inexperienced traveller can be equipped with the knowledge they need to confidently respond to any situation they may encounter whilst overseas.

Our Gap Year course has been designed to broaden your awareness of the wider world, teach you how to keep yourself safe, and how to minimise risk to your health whilst travelling. We want you to be able to recognise situations that could potentially place you in danger and have the knowledge and the confidence to make decisions that will help you to evade preventable incidents.

WHY DO WE DO IT?

After spending many years working overseas, and often in developing countries for long duration's of time, we have witnessed first hand the inherent dangers associated with travel. As parents ourselves, we understand the need for our children to be as prepared as possible when travelling away from home. Our children's safety is paramount, and it is for this reason that we have developed OSKRAE. Using our own personal experiences, those of our colleagues, and the knowledge that we have acquired throughout our careers, we strongly believe that with the right preparation, most potential dangers can be avoided.
