Where Artists, Fans, Vendors, Labels, Producers, Designers, Directors and Media, can interact in one environment with artists having the opportunity to record a song & make a video on site. If you have what it takes you can be signed to our record label and your song will be in outlets around the country. We encourage everyone to come in their finest clothes reflecting Hip Hop fashion from the 80

's to the 90's. Lets bring back the wonderful styles and fashion from those periods. A prize will be given to the best Male & Female outfit. You don't need hours of studio time and a million dollar video budget. Simply register for the Recording or Video package and you are on your way. There is something for everyone at . You can network with like minded people in the Industry to connect and establish relationships. You can buy a Table or bring a Booth to sell your merchandise. From Mixtape to T-Shirts, Books to Equipment get your entrepreneur on. Also at the will be a Hip Hop Karaoke competition. The winner will recieve $500. So come out prepared to do your thing and bring home the cash. Other elements are our Music Seminar. Topics will include, Recording contract 101, Ghostwriting, Publishing & Copyright 101, The Battle MC, and other interesting subject matter. Check out our one of a kind Fashion Show highlighting Hip Hop's splendor. We are pleased to be hosting our signature event The Rapathon it's normally for 24 plus hours with 150 rappers. This time it's only for 2 hours and just 5 super gifted rappers will be participating. These 5 Freestyle experts are masters of their craft. If you have never witnessed a Rapathon before, your in for a treat. There will be an Old School concert featuring some of the era's best with an After Party directly following. All the while artists will be recording songs and making videos on premise trying to win
MVP & secure a record deal. That's right you can register in advance to record and jumpstart your career.

On November 5th, 2023, The Mount Vernon Public Library will be hosting a Hip Hop 50 event. It's called The Beats that Made Hip-Hop!
Before the samples the remixes and the million-dollar lifestyle, there was the beats that made a multi trillion-dollar industry. Many of the 1st generation DJ's who curated and cultivated this culture are unsung. We intend to shine a light on the pioneers and the breaks that are so popular today.

It will be a full day of Hip-Hop-Centric programming. It's starts at noon with a Panel Called the Beats that made Hip Hop. We will have in house.
some of the original DJ's that took the time to hit the record stores and dig through the milk crates to forge what is Hip Hop today. The panel starts at noon and ends at 1:30pm.

From 2pm to 6pm we will have an DJ-Con! If you have never been to a DJ-Con, check it out. (See link) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOo3fYs65bg

There you will see and hear some of the worlds most skilled Dj's telling the history of Hip Hop through song, vinyl and turntables.
From 6pm to 8pm you have a chance to be part of Hip Hop History. We will be shooting an episode of Video Music Box live on site with Ralph Mcdanial's. Be prepared to have a good time and to give a shout out or two.

From 8pm to 9pm stick around for the concert and after party as we conclude a fun, safe, multi-generational day of Hip Hop.
