Rarity alert! terek sandpiper was seen today at akrotiri gravel pits by Peter Allen. A bar tailed godwit was also picked up there a few days ago (not sure who first saw it). Lastly an oriental turtle dove was recently seen in the North.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to all that follow and have used Cyprus Bird Watching Tours LTD. 2023 has again been another record breaking year for the company, so thank you all. 2024 will hopefully see the construction of a new synergy for the company with collaborations and expansions, bringing more tours from a large variety of different wildlife that inhabit our island (So not just birds) along with the first raptor hides in Cyprus, action excursions and sports. Also there will be conservation work in place, breeding programs, rewilding and re-introductions providing subsidies are obtained.
