We have spent a week in this fabulous cottage. What a wonderful place. Everything about the cottage is perfect, including the garden, which is also fabulous. Our collie, Mollie, loved the garden, as we all did.
Despite the awful weather, we were able to enjoy two evenings, outside on the patio, in the evening sun.

The property is cosy and welcoming, with everything we could possibly need. It is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout and the the linen and towels provided were of good quality.

The location is excellent. An easy walk, less than a mile, into Wigtown. We visited, on foot, at least twice.

Likewise, the cottage is situated just a short stroll from a great pub and also Bladnoch distillery and cafe. Both dog friendly.

Lots of excellent places to visit within a short drive. e.g. Garlieston, Port William, close by. Glenwhan gardens, about 40 minutes away, well worth a visit. Dog friendly too, as is the cafe.

10/10 for a fantastic stay. We will definitely book again. I highly recommend this property.

We are excited to unveil the final Bladnoch Waterfall Batch 05, culminating the 5-year journey on Saturday May 18th at Bladnoch Distillery.

This year’s release is a magnificent 2nd fill Oloroso Sherry Puncheon with marvellous tasting notes of sugary dates and fragrant nutmeg. Only 1000 bottles available exclusively at the Waterfall event.

We look forward to closing this wonderful chapter together – it will be a day to remember!
