After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, David Davee was drawn to Austin's tremendous opportunity for home construction. He moved to Austin in 1983, where he spent the next 16 years building his career at Bill Milburn Homes / D.R. In 1999, David started his own custom home building business, focusing predominantly in the Lake Travis area of Austin, Texas. He managed the company for more than 14 years, until returning to the national arena of home building at Lennar, where he held the position as Director of Construction for Austin, Texas and Division President of Central Texas, which includes Killeen, Temple, and Waco areas. Alas, David’s calling to continue building custom homes persisted, and re-established his custom home building business as Davee Custom Homes in 2014. Over the last 30 years, he has carefully assembled a loyal team of suppliers and subcontractors centered around building the customer’s dream home.
